Good- Saturday English breakfast although bacon could be a little bit more toasted. Bad - the hostel is being over its outside refurbish, the cleaners do their job so it is clean however people staying there don't clean their hair hence dirty showers, one day I had cold shower hence the boilers broke and even if I want to warm... This is a very nice hotel. It is very functional and family oriented. The rooms are comfortable and the food is good. The short distance into the city is an easy price to pay for those travelling on a budget.

I've been staying in this hotel over the course of the last couple of days for a night. And while the booking experience was fast and easy, it had its drawbacks as well. Booking: Used booking.com on this occasion, and written a request for the hotel, to make sure, that I can store my luggage with them after checking-out on... More

The accomodation is actually part of a hostel line. It is close to Notting Hill subway station. The room was nice and clean, comfortable. But they do not provide towel (this is specified in the booking) and soap. The bathroom and shower were close to my room and clean. The wi-fi is free and the speed is good. There are... More

I stayed in a single private room which had a small bed, wardrobe , drawers, TV & fridge. I was worried it would be noisy because it's a youth hostel, but the private rooms are far away from the shared rooms(those were noisy) it was very quiet where I was. I had read bad reviews re the cleaning&staff unfriendliness and... More

Excellent value for money, quiet, clean, great location and everything you would like in a hostel. Best three day stay I've had at any hostel. One of the really nice things is that it was so quiet and peaceful in the evening and the beds were very comfy. Going back soon.

If you want a nice location, stay in it. If you want a clean place, stay away, It is good for students and people who are looking for a busy place to stay without worrying about cleanliness and tranquility. The bathrooms are disgusting. Old and don't work properly. They are shared and "cleaned" everyday (as well as the rooms), but... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
