Stayed here for a concert at Royal Albert Hall and didn't want to pay a fortune for a hotel. I had a double room to myself for £45 - which in London is pretty hard to find unless you book in advance (which admittedly I...More

The weekend before our staying at Acacia Hostel, something unexpected and tragic happened to one of my friends. Therefore, we needed to cancel one of the reserved beds. Since we booked this through a different website than the actual hostel's website, there was a lack...More

Before arriving and being this my 2nd time in this hostel, I requested by e-mail to be accommodated in a 6-bed room as was booked. The first time I had to cut my stay short (from 9 to 2 nights) because in a period of...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
