Great stay with the Cheval team, having stayed pre lockdown number 1 for a family birthday in the tower penthouse, this time we wanted to celebrate our anniversary in style with he same view and having spoken to the team I was advised that the deluxe apartment was the best way to achieve it. Stunning views from both balconies across iconic London. The service was impeccable and the team were super considerate with the current Covid restrictions. A really handy sanitation kit provided, our room rate included £50 credit for room service which was delicious (sourced meals offsite, similar to deliveroo or uber eats - Polo bar was great food!) we cooked breakfasts most morning in the kitchen but whilst staying in London it was much more tempting to get some of the best restaurants in the area to deliver straight to your door. With a stunning view we didn’t feel the need to go out, especially when we’d be sitting outside.

There is a Tesco nearby and plenty of restaurants so when Covid is all over a great location. We did a 2 hour walk, St. Paul’s is close by, millennium bridge, you can continue to London eye and Westminster before heading back. We masked up and took a walk through borough market, which is always great for finding a treat. Overall, as we spent so much time in the apartment it was great to get the deluxe suite. We asked for a higher floor. Although The team tell you it’s never a guarantee on this occasion they were able to accommodate is on the 8th floor and I know the 9th is penthouse so we were the highest we could go.

The team were all great and unfortunately I didn’t get everyone’s names but Butch who I spoke with pre- arrival and Jelena were fantastic. They set up the room with the additional amenities I’d requested (balloons flowers and cake - these were chargeable items) but also set up items my wife had got me from 3rd party suppliers like afternoon tea, balloons. The welcome pack in the fridge was great too and included all the things you’d expect that kept us going when we got peckish.

Thanks Cheval team and see
You soon for another fab staycation 🙂

My partner and I stayed in a one-bedroom tower view apartment for 5 nights and could not be happier with the location of this apartment. The view is nothing short of spectacular. The apartment itself was very luxurious and comfortable with a nice lounge area and well equipped full-kitchen. Large bed was comfortable and the bedroom also offered views of tower bridge. The washer/dryer was extremely helpful and easy to use. The welcome package was amazing and included bread, biscuits, cheese, milk and juices. The service was wonderful and staff were friendly. Our apartment had a few faulty appliances but these were replaced or repaired quickly and it did not greatly impact our stay. There was a taxi rank across the road and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

We had a wonderful experience here. We paid for an extra night so we could check in directly in the early morning after an overnight flight. We arrived and everyone was so pleasant and kind. They upgraded us to a delightful apartment that faced tower bridge with two balconies. They also provided a few breakfast items, which was soooo helpful after an overnight trip. We ordered a few things as well (through amazon). The property is also air conditioned which is was another major plus during a heat wave. A bunch of restaurant options within walking distance and tube was also within walking distance. I can safely say that I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve always loved the area between London bridge & Tower bridge but this hotel certainly captures all of that area with views of the Shard/HMS Belfast or Tower Bridge/Tower of London. Not only that, the apartment was amazing, stylish and had staff on hand which went above & beyond to make our stay special. They knew it was my wife’s birthday and we arrived to a birthday card and balloons. It’s not very often you wake up with views of the tower bridge!

The apartment had everything you needed to eat in (if you wanted) and all the equipment, cutlery & home furnishings were high end in quality. Price to stay was very reasonable considering the location and I’d recommend you book through the hotel direct over other 3rd party websites. You get many benefits for doing so. For example we got a discount on the room and complimentary breakfast with free upgrade on room (if available)

If travelling by train you couldn’t get a much easier transfer. For us we traveled into St Pancreas by train and your only 5 tube stops away from Tower Hill. From there it’s less than a 500 yards walk to the hotel. Failing that your 50 yards from the Thames Uber boats making travelling around the city so easy.

Don’t hesitate to book at this venue as you won’t be disappointed!! 5⭐️

We have just returned from a four night stay at this fantastic property overlooking the Tower of London.
The evening before our arrival we received an email from Mauro, telling us about road closures around the property and offering advice about travel etc.
We were subsequently greeted by Mauro and given an extremely warm and professional welcome.
Our apartment was a one bedroom Tower View on the 8th floor, upon entry we were bowled over by the view from both the balcony and windows. It was well appointed with good quality appliances furnishings bedding and toiletries. We had an enhanced breakfast hamper, some of which we enjoyed the following morning and there was still plenty of snacks etc left to enjoy during our stay.
We had a problem in the apartment which Butch dealt with to our satisfaction and he also helped to order our takeaway as we struggled to work out how to process it!!
As we went in and out of the foyer (which incidently always smelt lovely) we were always greeted warmly by reception staff, sadly we didn't get to learn all their names.
On our last day Kestas organised a Cheval Red bus for us to take home,Louise the head housekeeper brought it to us and introduced herself, she asked about our stay which was much appreciated.
The management team should be very proud of all their staff, they all seem happy in their work and gave us a first class guest experience.
We had a lovely time in London and we were sorry to have to leave.Hopefully we will be back soon.

An absolutely excellent stay from before it started to the end.

First: the Cheval app: it allows you to speak in semi real time with someone on the front desk who answers all your questions any time before you arrive. We let the hotel know that we were arriving early , and they told us that even though our room would not be ready three hours ahead, they would put us up in the private hospitality suite in the meantime.

Next: the room. We were very pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a Tower view room with sweeping views of the Thames and Tower bridge. Absolutely incredible view. The kitchen is very modern with excellent appliances, and the bathrooms are very well appointed. The bedrooms are very quiet with excellent bedding and very effective blackout shades.

Pro tip: there is a washer/dryer present in every room so we ended up packing less!

Next: the area. The hotel is smack next to several tube stations, Tower bridge, London bridge and the Shard just a stone’s throw away. Weather permitting, it’s a straight walk along the water to the Strand and Covent garden, with Mayfair just a bit further out. Tons of restaurants and pubs next door as well, including several fine dining options.

Last but not least, the staff: extremely polite, helpful and courteous from the point we arrived to the second we left. They made our trip special and were super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have us there.

Overall, this has been our favorite hotel in London hands down, and we will highly recommend the Cheval Three Quays to anyone planning a trip to London.

The best hotel I've stayed in and the staff are so helpful they upgraded us to a 2 bedroom luxury river view with 2 balconies overlooking the Tower Bridge and River Thames. The cleanliness was impeccable and they left complementary breakfast items, coffee pods, shortbread, mixed nuts, fruit and toiletries. WIFI use, smart TV in lounge and 2 bedrooms. Washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, iron with all the amenities needed. I Would recommend this hotel to anyone I only wish I could stay longer!

I had organised the trip for a Christmas present for my mum. A 2 bedroom apartment was brilliant for us - we were able to stay together without needing to worry about rooms being close to each other in a hotel.

The apartment was nothing short of amazing! To start it was HUGE! Really big rooms and both had private bathrooms. We had a lovely sitting area and kitchen which allowed us flexibility to go out for food whilst also relaxing in the hotel and bringing food in.

What really made the stay was the small touches. The staff were all lovely! They gave us a warm welcome on arrival and were always keen to know that we were enjoying our stay. They were also interested in knowing what we were doing during our day which made it a real personal experience. On arrival we had a complimentary hamper with biscuits, crisps and tea and coffee in it. What was really nice was there was bottled water and a carton of milk in the fridge as well. The toiletries were also luxury products including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand wash and hand cream.

Finally, the main attraction was the balcony views. We booked a Tower Bridge view and it did not disappoint. The view was out of this world! I would highly recommend booking a room with this view.

I would definitely recommend a stay here. It matches luxury and location in comparison to some well known London hotels and is a more competitive price.

Our family stayed in one of their 2BD apartment hotels for several nights. After arriving late due to a delayed flight, I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a room with a tower and bridge views, which were fantastic. Moreover, the hotel provided a welcome basket filled with food, its staff stocked our fridge with juices, milk, salami, cheese, water, tea and other goodies that made us really at home. The staff was attentive, prompt, kind and overall outstanding. The hotel room had everything we needed, including a washer, dryer, dishwasher, stove, heated towel racks, high-end showerheads, hardwood floors and all the space a family could need. I cannot recommend this hotel enough and can't imagine booking anywhere else in London. In fact, we are looking into returning next year and definitely plan on staying here if we do.

Having stayed at Cheval Three Quays many years prior and having a lovely experience we booked a Deluxe Apartment with River View for a special occasion. The cost of this over £600 a night, which places it in the luxury hotel range.

The apartment itself is sizeable and whilst sparse has all the equipment you would need. However, the decor had not changed since the last visit many years ago, and is in need of renovation. Brown and beige everywhere and a singular half dead looking plant.

The location is flawless, the river view was wonderful and I cannot see how anybody could complain with a view like that.

The staff was an issue for me on this visit. Check in was okay, but we later had issues with the TV. I am good with technology but could not get it to work at all. So we reported this at the front desk and the response was quite puzzling, almost as if he didn’t believe us. Regardless he said he would come up shortly but after an hour of waiting I managed to look up a solution online and resolved it myself. He then came up after another hour to look, but of course I had got tired of waiting and fixed it myself. The balcony door was also having issues with shutting properly causing a breeze. The front desk had a look and told us it was most likely the sealant in the door.

Another issue with the staff was when the 4th member of our party came to join us in the room after work. They were greeted not with a friendly welcome but questioning as if they did not belong. Whilst I am partly to blame for forgetting to add them to the list of people staying in the room, they had my name and room number and whilst being careful and checking, the front desk staff could have been more friendly and welcoming.

Lastly, the value. For the location, square footage and view, the hotel has a lot to offer in terms of value. However, at this price point, it is the little extras which make a hotel stand out. The complimentary food and drink supplied in the room was very minimal and less than what other hotels in this price point have supplied in my previous visits. Additionally, it is always a surprise to me when high end hotels charge for the shampoo and soap bottles when they are made from plastic, especially for £18 each. Whilst this is not a huge problem by any means, it’s what makes hotels stand out from others.

Lastly the tap water pressure was quite poor but the bath and shower water pressure is good. Not major but just something I noticed.

Overall, the location and size of the apartment is great, the beds are comfy and you have everything you need. However, the service was questionable and the rooms need renovation/redecorating in my opinion.

Dear N5139XIadamb, Thank you for taking some time to write your review of Cheval Three Quays and for completing our survey, which we have also responded to. Although I am glad to see that you found the apartment spacious, the beds comfortable and the location great, I am sorry to read about your disappointment with the service from the team and with the apartment decor. It is especially saddening to read your feedback about the team and as mentioned on the survey response, I take your comments very seriously as this is not the usual experience I have had whilst working with the Front Office employees. I am very sorry that it took longer than usual until the issue with the TV was attended to and that the initial response from the Receptionist was not helpful. Regarding the guests and visitors, whilst the Receptionist followed the usual procedures, I am sorry that the communication did not make the member from your party feel welcome. Our Front Office Manager, Mohit, is addressing the communication style with the team to ensure that these shortfalls will not happen again in the future. I also take on board your comments regarding the food and drink items provided on arrival. As a serviced apartment residence our offering differs from hotels and is dependent on the booking channel. We do offer book direct benefits with a more extensive hamper as well as a complimentary continental breakfast when staying for 2 nights or more. I have also noted your remarks about the plants, although they have recently been added to the apartments. The balcony door and water pressure is being followed up and I am sorry that these were not addressed prior to your arrival. In an effort to improve sustainability, Cheval has stopped using single-use plastic toiletry bottles and instead provide large refillable bottles of shampoo, shower gel and body lotion for all of our guests to use during their stay. I am sorry to read that you found it surprising that we charge for the Arran Aromatics toiletries in case guests want to take them home. Again, I am sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations this time and I do hope that we have the opportunity to welcome you back to rectify your experience. Kind regards, Kate Fletcher General Manager

They give you a selection of food in the fridge . Just from memory there were lots of nice things such as... Bread, croissants, jam, selection of meats, eggs, bacon, fruit, cheese, fruit juice, milk, chocolate, biscuits, tea bags, coffee. There was probably more things we have forgotten. But definitely enough to last two days or more. It was all very nice. We ordered online shopping and they took it to our apartment and unpacked it and put it in the fridge for us. Hope this answers your question. Have a nice stay, We loved it there.

f you not Tower Bridge facing , you may have a view of the river looking towards the HMS Belfast or the Shard . Some rooms are in the building recess or behind the water feature thus denying a view of Tower Bridge.
