Stayed for a week during January. Found this hotel to be in a really convenient location as the tube is right there to transport you anywhere you want to go. Had booked a twin room which didn't seem to have been passed on. Reception staff accommodated us. The breakfast was pleasant but very busy. Overall a pleasant stay.

It's a lovely clean hotel and the reception area and staff are lovely. Just a few little points with the room. There's a step up to the shower room which could be dangerous in the middle of the night but more annoyingly the television sound is awful due to the fact that the TV is boxed in... small thing I...

We didn't get our room until 7 pm. Based on misguiding information from the hotel, we sat in the reception/hotel bar waiting for more than 4 hours. The room was good. Small, but New bathroom, good bed. Did have extra pillows, but all pillow was hard and high.

Fantastic value for a night in London. Easy to get around - right by the tube station. Staff friendly and helpful, could leave the bags for collection later. Breakfast good choice and plentiful. will stay again.

We visited thuis hotel during Xmas season. So it was really busy in London. And also prices were higher than usual. The hotel has a great location, perfect if you want to do a Jack The Ripper Tour. I would suggest to take breakfast in the neighbourhood since there are lots of nice breakfast places near the hotel. There is...

Recently stayed over week-end and found this hotel very good and quiet with a good breakfast and on good tube line (Aldgate East station only a few metres away) as number 25 bus in to Oxford Circus (an all-night service).

The room was a bit dark, but clean. A comfortable bed, decent TV, fair starage and lenty of powerpoints. The shower was a little variable. Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the lobby is a nice place to sit. Didn't try breakfast.

Great location, right next to Aldgate East Tube, and 6 min walk to the market up the road... Nice room, comfy bed, windows do a great job of blocking the outside sound. Stayed here for 2 nights, and based on cost, this worked out to be the perfect stay !!

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
