Good location, near to Bayswater metro station. When we checked in, we were greeted by a cheery receptionist. But the rooms are small, old and tired looking. Could do with some updating of furniture and linen. How about better housekeeping - just fancy checking into your room and finding an unfinished bottle of Horlicks and some croissants left behind by...

This review is written on behalf of my father in law. He and his wife stayed in Troy Hotel last September 2016, with the intention to enjoy and visit London. Please note they are not able to fluently communicate in English, but they are used to travel in Europe and have already visited several cities like Paris, Rome, Prague, Brussels,...

You do not get much for £58, especially for a room in central London, but this was a en suit, and not the usual bathroom the size of a wardrobe, but a really good size for single room, and really top class shower and surrounds. Room itself for spotless, and again big for the usual single room, even had a...

This hotel is located a bit far from the center, but it takes only 15 minutes ride from the close by station. The rooms are small but accommodating. Breakfast is a bit poor. The price was the reason we got here and it was as we expected : worth it but nothing more

Clean but room was rather small. Not much ventilation in the room and, as it was in the middle of a heat wave, we had an uncomfortable night. The weather was not the hotel's fault though :) Good breakfast and conveniently situated. Desk staff were silent to the point of surly but I put that down to their poor English.

5 mins walk from Bayswater station, along the ways there are plenty of restaurants, including chinese, indian, halal, Italian, Thai (many asian).....also many souvenir shops and supermarket, its still busy even at 11pm, maybe its weekend. Small hotel, clean, lift access, inside room has everything like safe box, tv, fridge, hair dryer...no aircon in room but with ceiling fan. Free...

Lovely clean hotel, Hyde Park a stones throw from front door. Close to Kensington Palace. Situated between two tube stations. Hotel itself, clean, foyer beautiful new and modern, good quality carpets on the stairs. Security system on the room door very high tech, room itself clean but dated. View from the window was a brick wall, on saying this it...

We stayed here recently as it was an ideal location for Hyde Park. It is also close to several underground stations. The hotel was clean throughout. Our room was fairly large and had air con and a sitting room. It was at the rear of the building so our view was a wall. This may bother people who spend a...

Hotel situated in the Queenborough/Baywater-area. Close to the tube and buses. Bus no. 94 to Trafalgar Square via Oxford Street + Hop-on-hop-off-buses are passing just outside the hotel. Simple, but clean rooms. The staff didn't speak English fluently, but they were friendly and helpful. Simple and basic continental breakfast. Good value for money.
