Fantastic location, walking distance to Regent Street, Carnaby Street and Oxford Street, also walking distance to West end. Hotel was very clean, the room lovely and nice bathroom. The service was great, staff very friendly, breakfast choice good. The hotel bar was fab with the holding cells from the original courthouse as little 'snugs' I would recommend this hotel for...

Hi, me and my partner went the courthouse hotels as it looked nice in the photos online and we wanted to be in Shoreditch. As soon as we arrived the service wasn't great for a 5* hotel you would expect there was more trainees than staff. I asked if someone could park my car they said there car park was...

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It was a late decision to go here as it was difficult to find somewhere close to where we wanted to visit in such a large city. On reflection, we wished we had stayed another night but we certainly will on our return. The room was warm and comfortable, the staff welcoming...

Dear Dave W, Your comments are much appreciated and what great praise indeed which all staff will be delighted with. It is difficult to find a hotel more central than ours, with regent street, oxford street and Carnaby street on your doorstep. Happy to hear you had a great time and we look forward welcoming you back.

Stayed overnight for Valentine's Day as we were going to see Aladdin in the West End. Got a room upgrade and was able to check in 2 hours early with no extra fee. Great location about one minute walk to Oxford Street and Oxford Circus tube station! Lovely, friendly service and clean, spacious rooms.

Dear rach_dickerson, Thank you for your amazing review. Not a bad way to spend Valentines, stay in Central London and visiting the great musical of Alladin. Great to know you had such a great time! All the best,

Stayed here for our 20 year anniversary. The room was lovely. Breakfast was okay. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Wish there had been a blanket as I feel the cold but other half doesn't like it too hot in the room. Was nice to see the old cells. Would stay again.

Dear Dale D, Thank you for the great comments and happy 20th anniversary. We do have spare blankets which can be provided upon request for anyone who should wish one. The old cells are one of the unique features the hotel has to offer and have a lot of great stories. We look forward seeing you again in the future....

My wife and I went here after receiving a voucher for afternoon tea. The building has lots of unusual features as it was previously Marlborough St Crown Court in the West End of London. In the bar there are still some individual cells to drink in (reserve one in advance for up to 8 persons), there is still one magistrates...

Dear Clive480077, Thank you for taking the time out to talk about your experience on TripAdvisor. The History of the building is quite extraordinary and the original building dates back to the late 1700's. We are a Grade II listed building and as you state have maintained a lot of the original features of the hotel. Sorry to hear that...

Location of hotel was great. Soho just a few minutes away. Carnaby Street outside the front door and Regent Street at the end of the road. Fabulous! As for the hotel itself? The accommodation is no more superior to a Premier Inn. In fact, given the price for accommodation here it's vastly, vastly over-priced. I could almost excuse it if...

Dear Mark W, Thank you for your review about your recent stay at the Courthouse Soho. Glad you enjoyed our location, which is a mayor USP for the hotel and our guests mention this all the time. Sorry to hear that room service took so long, as you mentioned to deliver fresh milk and tap water should take no longer...

I booked a couple of Virgin Experience Days here as birthday presents for my best friend, and decided to make a weekend of it by staying the night. Really enjoyed our weekend stay. Lovely room and the cells in the bar (photo) were a blast! Pool was small but great with the glass suspended lounge area and service all round was fab. The only comment I would make is the power sockets need to be sited more usefully. There were plenty but nothing near the kettle or in...

Dear JaneHR, Delighted to hear you had a great time with us and enjoyed the history. Our pool is more of a relaxation pool to enjoy before or after a spa treatment. Thank you for your comments about power sockets which we are aware off and are trying to find a solution for. Hope we can welcome you back soon!

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
