If you are visiting anyone near the vicinity of Kennington or Elephant & Castle this is the place to stay. Tucked in a quiet street near a bus route into the city, Alison's townhouse will be your home away from home. A beautiful kept house with a bedroom and bathroom all to yourself. Alison is a wonderful host and serves...

We have stayed at Pooters several times and found it to be an excellent and really comfortable place to stay; it is within walking distance of the tube and incredibly convenient for us to visit our daughter who is a junior doctor in London. Alison is a wonderful host and could not be more helpful. We really look forward to...

It is very nice to have regular visitors and this couple are really a joy to look after. I am glad that my central location suites them so well and they can easily reach all the places in London they wish to visit, including their daughter's house.

Pooters is a great base from which to explore London, whether your visit is for business or pleasure (or in our case, both!). We have stayed both as a couple and en famille and both times have loved every moment. In fact my partner has just booked to stay there on for a couple of nights on his own for...

This is a lovely review from a great family who came to stay. They enjoyed being so close to the centre of London and yet having a quiet street in which they could also park their car. The large dining table enables the family to sit around it together and eat and chat comfortably. The combination of proximity to most...

Myself and my finance Jason visited Pooters B&B for the first time for an event in London. Alison was a lovely & attentive host...something that stuck with us was her Ethos of "my home is your home so make yourself comfortable". This really resonated through the entire house & all of the rooms had a warm comfortable feel. Our room...

This warm review made a grey day much lighter for me! I am so pleased that this engaged couple were happy and relaxed in my home and it will be lovely to see them when they come again. My business this year has been supported very strongly by repeat visits and also by referrals from my guests. This makes it...

Alison was a wonderful host: helpful and considerate. She provided an extra mattress for my back problems and even got hold of soy milk as she found out I'm vegan. The room was very comfortable and clean. She prepared a delicious breakfast (even considering the vegan part).

I was so pleased to receive this review as accepting a guest with back problems and a special diet could be thought challenging! However, listening to her needs enabled us to choose the right bed and mattress arrangement for her and I enjoyed preparing the vegan breakfast. Great!

I had a wonderful stay for a couple of nights at this B&B. It is very close to all London main attractions and yet, is located on a very quiet street. Alison cooked top class breakfasts and was a wonderful host too. She kindly engaged in plenty of conversations recommending places to visit and sharing stories from British history and...

I enjoyed reading this review! It's so nice to know that the B&B experience in a traditional family home setting is so pleasing. My guests tell that the personal touch counts and that deep local knowledge is helpful. Having lived in central London most of my life I should know it rather well!

We stayed with friends at this lovely B & B for 3 nights in mid-July while exploring the sights of London - Alison is wonderfully welcoming and helpful...the rooms, comfortable beds and bathrooms and pretty walled back garden are a home from home in this well-kept, characterful Victorian house. The breakfasts served at a big dining table are just what...

How nice to hear that my guests have been happy here and found my home comfortable and convenient. I am lucky to be so close to Big Ben and many of the major attractions in London and yet be in a peaceful spot. A girlfriend, my son (14) and I, we joined three wonderful days in London. And Alison's B&B was a big part of this wonderful days. Very nice house and rooms, delicious breakfast and Alison. She was very kind and it was a pleasure talking with her in this private atmosphere. Surely we will come back again.

I was very glad that these lovely guests from Germany had a wonderful time. The young lad gained confidence in speaking English and clearly enjoyed the trip. They were amazed at how close my house is to the main tourist attractions and at the same time how quiet my actual location is. They promise to come again!

My son and I just ended a week's stay at Pooters, and I would never want to stay anywhere else in London.
