I stayed there for a night during a business trip. I select this place as its location was close to the office i had to go. Hotel is good for basic needs: a clean room and bed, amenities available in the bathroom, and coffee, tea and kettle are available in the room. Also a free bottle of drinking water available....

Very nice room , very clean & friendly staff. The only weird thing for me was that the sink was in the main room & not in the bathroom. Plus nice big mirror , shame there was no plug socket near by to dry your hair

This hotel was very welcoming - family run and Muslim in a strongly Muslim area in Whitechapel, it was very hospitable. We needed an overnight stop where we could easily get to Blackfriars for the evening but we didn't have a huge amount to spend. This hotel solved a number of problems and was reasonably priced. The room was not...

Pleasantly surprised. The apartment was very clean and modern. The rooms were a good size and kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The Whitechapel was not too hard to find and not too far from the nearest tube station. Definatelty recommend

Room pristine, single room but bed big enough to be called a double. Reception staff friendly and efficient. 5 min walk from Whitechapel or Aldgate East underground Breakfast good (no pork sausages or bacon as muslim run hotel) Would recommend to anyone, will stay again

Needed a hotel in walking distance to the Royal London Hospital so went for this hotel. As I booked quite late in the day the only room available was the penthouse apartment for 4 people which don't come cheap! Though its spacious and includes a living space with a kitchen, dining area and lounge area and 2 bedrooms in a...

This was my second stay at this hotel, which is a good value budget hotel in the East End of London. In terms of the positives - the hotel is modern and colourfully decorated, just a short commute to the city, has a safety deposit box in room, coffee-making facilities, a flat screen TV, air-con, mini-bar in room (charged) and...

Booked the hotel for a weekend away, to find that the area is somewhere I'd not visit again. When booking in at reception the woman was not welcoming and was rather blunt. No 'enjoy your stay' When walking into the room we book, it was supposed to be a king size bed, which turned out to be a double bed...

Hotel looks nice in the photographs and to be fair the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. However, the area is not great and buildings nearby pretty run down. The breakfast was pretty poor and with just a few small changes could be so much better i.e. fresh milk, a pot of tea instead of 1 single cup and UHT...

I wish I could give 3,5 rate, as 3 still feels a bit low. I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and the first impression was not the greatest - we had bad luck with the receptionist, but the design of the hotel impressed me. It looks nice and modern, but the functionality is not the best, with the...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
