I love the Farmers Club. The location is amazing; the staff are friendly and helpful; the food is excellent, well presented, but not too Cheffy; the rooms are comfortable and well appointed with excellent WiFi, but no TV.

A very comfortable stay in a great location. Friendly club with good food and traditional English hospitality. Recently refurbished rooms are a bonus but could there be a little more insulation in the partition walls so we can't hear the next door guests talking at normal levels?

Been staying here for years and love the location and breakfast. Staff are professional and friendly. They've newly renovated and gone a bit trendy - quite daring for the club really, but beautifully done! They've kept some of the old memorabilia and used it in new ways - lovely

I was a guest here as I am not a member - only members are allowed. The afternoon tea was lovely. Hot tea in quality teapot and tasty scones served with clotted cream and tiptree jam. Service was discrete, prompt and polite. Can't fault it at all.

The clubs location and outlook is excellent, overlooking Whitehall Park and the Thames. The club staff and the members I met were extremely friendly and welcoming. My room was very comfortable and the upstairs bar and dining room overlooking the park was perfect on a summers day. Made my London stay very special.

Lovely opportunity to stay at the farmers club overnight when we came to see a show. This is ideally located with the Embankment tube station being just around the corner. Lovely rooms many of which have now been refurbished and excellent bathroom. Although the bar was not open when we visited the restaurant was and the breakfast we had was...

The Farmers Club is situated right in the heart of London - next to Embankment tube station. It is a members club, but you can go as a member or a guest of a member and dine or stay the night. The decor is a bit quirky (as is the whole building) - but that is part of the charm....

Perfect location and lovely quiet environment for a night away in London. Basic, comfortable rooms with the best shower & the softest bath towels I've come across in a while! Unfortunately we picked a weekend that the kitchen was having a refurb so no hot breakfast - which was a shame but not a big issue.

We stayed at the The Farmers Club last Friday night. Great unobstructed view of the London Eye, window seat for dinner and breakfast the following morning. Polite, efficient staff, pleasant surroundings. Newly refurbished room of good size and light and airy sizeable bath/shower room. balcony overlooking the front of the Club. Centrally located but in a quiet situation virtually devoid...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
