Detailed Reviews
Make no mistake, what you’re paying for here is the location, which is barely 90 seconds away from the main platforms at London Victoria. The fact that the rooms are very reasonably priced also means one other thing: you don’t get much bang for your buck. Although everything was immaculately clean, my shower was considerably bigger than my bedroom and living area put together, an arrangement which won’t be ideal for every situation. If you’re looking to luxuriate in a shower (along with a five-a-side football team, if you wish) and then hit the hay, you’re golden. If you plan on spending any longer than a few hours in your room, make sure you’re not claustrophobic.
Still, it’s pretty much ideal for very busy tourists and business people who need to be central and aren’t looking for a temporary second home. Staff are friendly and helpful, always a significant bonus.

When booking I was initially worried due to reading bad reviews and reading about the rooms feeling small etc. When we arrived we paid an extra £20 for a room with a window which I think is reasonable for an upgrade.
On check in the staff were really friendly. The room was very clean and they came back each morning and cleaned to high standard, replaced toiletries, water bottle and towels. Room is cosy and small but didn't bother us as it still has a lot of space for hanging, luggage, desk with drawers etc. Only bad thing about this hotel is the bed was a little hard and uncomfortable. Efficient heating and air con system. Large tv with Sky channels.
The location is great as its within walking distance to lots of attractions and restaurants. Bus stop, underground, train and coach station very close to hotel.
For the price you pay, you couldn't ask for anything more, it is the perfect compact hotel. Will definitely be staying again and trying the other locations.

Dear Ella, Thank you very much for your great review. We’re glad to hear you appreciated the great central location and that you enjoyed the layout of our rooms and the storage space available at such an affordable price. Thank you for mentioning the cleanliness of the room and the professionalism of our incredible housekeeping team; we will make sure to pass on your kind words to them. Sorry to hear that the mattress was not to your preference; whilst we buy only the highest quality mattresses, we understand that personal preference differs, and they can’t be perfect for every guest that stays. Thank you again for all your kind feedback, and we look forward to your next stay with us. Kind regards, Tamim Popal Hotel Manager

As a 'youth hostel' type place - this hotel is just great. We enjoyed our first stay so much that we booked a second night for a second visit to London. The staff was very warm and friendly. A staff member, who wasn't even on the clock yet, saw us in the hallway smiled and said a cheerful "good morning!" Now that's unusual. As for the amenities, yes, the room was incredibly small, but it has everything you need to crash for a night or two after hitting the town for a long day of sightseeing. The room was super clean, bed was cozy comfy, We were lucky to secure a room with a window both times, but no window wouldn't bother us. TV worked well, internet connection great, coffee or tea for in the morning, hot water and soft clean towels. We did not partake in breakfast, but the lobby where it is served is very pleasant. Best of all the price was fantastic and it is right near Victoria station, so getting around is super easy.

We were meant to be staying here for our 10 year anniversary. We had booked train tickets, and theatre tickets too for our stay.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic we were forced to cancel our trip.
This hotel refused to give us a refund?! Instead offering 50% off and trying to imply this was more than suitable given their rates are non refundable.
I’m not sure they’ve seen the news and are aware the country AND WORLD is in crisis!
They were in-personal, didn’t apologise and didn’t have any care.
They also said they are only offering full refunds to customers from certain countries?! How is that fair? If you can’t travel, you can’t travel. End of.
It makes NO DIFFERENCE where you come from.
Although, I have since seen a review that someone else has had this problem and they are not from the UK? So now I think they are liars as well as greedy.
I am so angry. If I could give 0 stars I would.
I will never consider booking with Z Hotels again.
I will also add that our train tickets and theatre tickets have been refunded in full. The government has also offered help to businesses during this difficult time so I don’t see any excuse they have for taking half of our money for a trip we cannot take.
We’re out of pocket for trying to stay safe and healthy and this hotel does not care.
Thanks for nothing

Excellent hotel in a strategic location. We booked a room without windows, the room is small but has every necessary comfort. There is a kettle with tea and hot drinks of your choice and there is also a hairdryer. In addition to the "British" electrical sockets, it is very convenient to also have the possibility of directly inserting the cable, both normal USB and USB-C. The room is tidied up daily and the breakfast (which we had included in the price) is excellent and rich, gluten-free options also available. All the hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Always ready to help and give advice. Furthermore, the truly central location allows you to reach Buckingham Palace in 10 minutes on foot. Victoria Station is really close by and is an excellent hub for all the main connections. We will definitely return to the Z Hotel Victoria when we return to London. I recommend the hotel to everyone.

Visited this hotel not so long ago, staff was so friendly and generous. I arrived at London at 6:30am in the morning and check in wasn’t until 3pm. I wish I had got the guys name but he found me a room I could check in to early for an extra £20 was worth it he offered me a free upgrade as the room I booked wasn’t available at that time. Hotel was clean, provided free tea an coffee. Was such a peaceful hotel to stay in. The room had its own flat screen TV which included every single sky channel. Literally felt like I had gone home to home. Staff was so attentive always happy an friendly no matter what hour of the day. It was an excellent price too would definitely stay at this hotel again!!!

My wife and I recently spent several days/nights at the Z Hotel near Victoria Station. We have no complaints. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was quiet and comfortable with a hot shower and firm, clean bed. Some reviews criticize the size of the room, but when compared to other London hotels, to have a private bathroom, free wifi, and fresh (complimentary) bottles of water can be considered a luxury. Besides, I believe in packing light and hitting the streets as much as possible. To that point, this hotel has a great advantage over many of its competitors--location. It's a two minute walk to Victoria Station, where a traveler can catch a bus, a train, or tube to anywhere in the city (and often beyond). Victoria Station also has coffeeshops, M&S grocery stores, and many restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and borders multiple embassies. Also of note is the fact that we arrived early and the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel so we could explore the city in the meantime.

Checked out of this hotel today and overall a great experience.
The team are lovely and very engaging had a pizza on both nights which was ok.
Begrudged paying full price for a hotel as being in the trade I get great discounts but unfortunately our London properties were all full.
The room is small but only enough for 1, it was spotlessly cleaned with fluffy white towels, crisp bedding and free water and toiletries.
I’m a sensitive sleeper, so unfortunately could her other people in the building and also the faint noise of the tube under the building.
Thanks for a great stay Z Hotel Victoria 🙌

Dear Carlos, Thank you very much for leaving a review. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay, it means a lot, especially coming form someone else in hospitality! We appreciate you mentioning the cleanliness and will pass on your kind words to our excellent housekeeping team. Whilst on our lowest floor, the occasional noise from the tube cannot be helped, we find that this is generally not so loud as to be disturbing, but apologise if this did interrupt your sleep, and would recommend requesting a room on a higher floor next time you stay to avoid this. We hope to welcome you again soon! Kind Regards, James Strahan Guest Service Assistant

Stayed here 1 night. We booked a room with a window and it was essentially a small room with a shower and toilet inside it.
The room was very clean.
I would stay here again due to the convenience of location. It’s 5 mins walk from Victoria station & lots of food/drink places around

I’ve stayed in many hotels near Victoria Station as that is very often my preferred area to stay due to the convenience of rail, tube, taxi, and bus. I’ve stayed in a quite a few awful hotels in this area but this one is excellent. It’s located right next to the station, and the rooms are always extremely clean and well appointed. Yes, they are small, but you get what you pay for and many rooms in London are on the small side anyway. The price has always been reasonable considering the location - especially if you sign up to be a member which entities you to a direct booking discount. The staff have always been very polite, friendly, and efficient. I can’t comment on their food as I’ve never eaten here. If you’re looking for a clean room, sensibly priced, near Victoria Station, then this is the hotel for you.
