The hotel is dirty, the toilet had a horrid stench, even as we were checking in. The carpet was dirty. As I was checking in, I could see dirt and dust swept and piled under the staircase. The room was unusually small; we could not even fit in two suitcases, leave alone the hand luggage. We checked in and checked... More

We visit London in a very short family trip and stayed at this hotel. The place is in a great location, close to metro and Victoria train station and has prices that were not so expensive. They gave us a room below the street level and was very humid, the carpet was not clean and the bed was in very... More

Cheap for London and very basic as a result. Good transport connection and some decent restaurants within walking distant. Staff are friendly and the hotel is as described on the webpages. Good for back packers or a single night when city hopping, but too noisy and basic for any more than that

We made reservation in this hotel but they weren't able to give us clean room. Refused to give us any confirmation we were there. I finally called to company I used to book this hotel and explained then situation. Finally hotel told we didn't show there, but hopefully I didn't have to pay cancellation fee (thanks to booking company). I... More

This is a basic hotel that has everything you need. A good sized room, excellent wifi, decent bathroom. Two minutes walk to the Victoria line with fast access to central London. The only issue is the lack of a lift but the value for money is second to none.

Its a cheap hotel and I wasn't expecting much for my money as it was more about the location for me. The staff was pleasant, Hotel is okay for the money I suppose. Nothing amazing but don't think I would stay again not unless I was stuck in London and on my own and needed a cheap place to stay... More

My daughter & I have just spent 2 nights at the corbigoe hotel in London, I'll start with the good points, 5 min walk from Victoria train & coach station, & only a 25 min walk to Big Ben & the London Eye, really friendly reception staff, the 2 that we met showed great interest in what we were upto... After reading the reviews I was expecting a really lousy hotel but after 3 nights in Corbigoe hotel, I must say that the stay was pretty satisfactory. The room was small but clean, and the toilet had a foot high step, but was also clean. The staff at the reception was also kind enough to offer us a portable heater... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
