This was our first visit to London and we found the bed and breakfast very easily from the underground station . The room was spotlessly clean and nicely appointed. The breakfasts were not much to speak of even for continental but this would not prevent us from staying there if we were to visit again. A nice part of London...

So many guests appreciate being around the corner from a major London Underground 'tube' (subway) station as well as access to the famous red buses going up Fulham Road to all that is London. The best compliment is a guest who returns again, so on your next visit you'll be one of so many returning guests who have crossed our...

Breakfast was simple, but filling. Nice and quiet and area had nice shops and restaurants with a park across the street. They provide lots of information about lots of things to do and see in London. I really liked my room.

Solo travellers are very welcome here and we've thought of many small touches that help with their stay from offering tubes of travel wash to providing secure WiFi, umbrellas and ponchos (rain macs). Glad you liked the airpulse rainshower and the overall comfort and design of your guest room. Thanks for the compliments.

Our room was beautiful, very well-appointed, conveniently located within easy walking distance to the tube and bus stops, as well as grocery stores and restaurants. The management couldn't have been more helpful and were crucial when my husband needed to be taken to the emergency room of the nearby hospital. Our host arranged for a car to take us and...

These very energetic and well organised guests had coveted tickets to the outdoor opera at Glyndebourne, took in major art exhibitions and found time to enjoy the local Whole Foods shop and other delights right on our doorstep. We were glad to assist with an emergency, 4-minute drive escort to the A&E right up Fulham Road--no need to wait for...

My wife, daughter and I were there from late December through mid-January 2016 and couldn´t be happier. Everything was as expected: excellent. We prize warmth, knowledge and sensibility, and Charlotte had them all; she always helped us, when needed—her assistance in pointing us in the right direction was tops. The rooms at Barclay House are very well designed & appointed;...

Our private home is a special haven for guests seeking to enjoy a' local neighbourhood London' to the full. These were such well-organised guests with a pre-planned list of galleries and unique venues to visit, along with special reservations made far in advance for the finest afternoon tea experiences. It was so lovely to host the three of you; we...

My wife and I stayed at Charlotte's for 5 nights in October and found everything to be first rate. We were in the front room, which had ample space, and both the bedroom and bathroom were attractive and well laid-out. We found the breakfast to be perfectly adequate and the coffee and tea selections were excellent. If a heartier breakfast...

It is so nice to meet, by chance, neighbours of former colleagues! What a pleasant coincidence this was for all of us. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay here with us.

We spent a long weekend at Barclay House. The room was comfy, very tasteful decoration and furniture. Breakfast (cold) was nice, had variety. The house is in a smaller street that was calm and silent over the weekend, but very close (about 5-8 mins walk) to underground and restaurants. The owner was nice and helpful, we would be happy to...

Thanks for pointing out our 'green' efforts with recycling and our Swiss water filter. As well, we offer paraben/nasty-free LIberty & Greene shower gel/conditioner with pure essential oils. No artificial anything; no sodium laurel sulfate here!

Barclay House is a great location for both leisure and business travelers. I had a convention at Excel and the longer commute was well worth it. Perfect comfort, great value and a gem of a restaurant/cocktail bar (Manuka) nearby. Look no further - if you want a quite stay and still have direct tube access this is the place to...

Manuka Kitchen is such a gem; guests often eat several times there! Next time, I hope you'll be able to have brunch at Manuka--to-die-for eggs Benedict and lots of vegetarian options. It was a pleasure to host you here. As seasoned travellers you know best what people want when staying in London. We are so glad that we ticked all...

We had a wonderful stay at Barclay House! Our room was so quiet and nice to return to after a day of sightseeing. The neighborhood has great restaurants, shops and we enjoyed exploring the area. Wow, these were jogging enthusiasts who were amazed at the easy jaunt up to Hyde Park and surrounds. They packed in a lot over a 5 night visit.
