Stayed 3 nights on business in a second floor room facing the main road but never herd any noise at all. The free WiFi was a nice bonus. The rooms are spacious and after talking with colleagues offer a varied range of design, wit some of the most luxurious in the Town house as opposed to the main building. Others...

We loved the Zetter. The room was great, large en suite bathroom, cool lighting and nice extras- like the music library and complimentary water. We had breakfast in the restaurant, very tasty. It's a bit pricey, but we thought it was worth it in line with other luxury/ boutique hotels. Free parking evening/ weekend on the nearby roads. Bed very...

The Zetter is centrally located in clerkenwell, the Zetter hotel is very welcoming and has everything you need. We are in the most budget room which may not be huge but definitely doesn't feel small because of large windows overlooking st johns square. Coffee machine on every floor for those who are addicted. Soaps/ shampoos in room are quite natural...

What an amzing night we spent - get a room at the top and treat yourself. Fab London experience - lovely view - and to top it all off THE most amazing beds. Best night sleep I'd ever had after an eveing of champagne on the terrace.

My wife & I treated ourselves to a rare night away from the kids and spent the night of my birthday at the Zeter Townhouse. Having had a not-so-great experience at the Zetter Hotel we were, it has to be said, taking a risk. However, all our fears were laid to rest the moment we spoke to the courteous &...

We stayed here for 4 days in September, then again for 2 days in October. Although the standard rooms are quite small, they are perfectly designed and extremely comfortable with funky decor and a great shower room. The breakfast that came with the room was nothing short of amazing. The hotel was installing a new computer system in Septemberwhich resulted...

I stayed here on business for one night. Only wish I could afford to stay here for pleasure some time! It might seem an odd thing to say, but I thoroughly enjoyed discovering my room. It was very small - but they really pack everything in. The decor is urban with shutters instead of curtains, if you like frilly, this...

Recent stay really dissapointing. Room was small with no comfy chair so nowhere to sit other than bed. Only a few tv channels- not good selection. Bed was comfy but pillows really soft and did not sleep well. Ate breakfast and it was like faulty towers with staff falling over themselves yet it took 10 min to get a hot...

I've never done a review on here before as I can't say I've ever stayed in a hotel worthy of my time and typing. However I stayed with the Zetter for my birthday this year and had an absolutely wonderful time. It may cost slightly more than your standard chain hotel, but that it because it IS so much more...

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
