The welcome was warm and friendly. The room was well presented, spotlessly clean with nice touches like a hot water bottle. There were many choices of free tea and coffee. The hotel was not noisy at all. The cocktail bar linked to the hotel had a sophisticated but not snobby atmosphere. The cocktails were unusual and tasty. The only downside...

I booked a night away for my husband and I and chose the Zetter based on recommendations from friends. I wanted to stay somewhere quirky with some personality and not in the thick of the West End. The Zetter was the perfect option, it's proximity to the tube made getting out quick and easy but actually we could have happily...

We stayed at The Zetter for New Year's Eve and found it very pleasant. Staff very friendly but would have been good to advise us of the pantry on the 3rd floor for tea/coffee etc as we only discovered this by chance in the morning! Breakfast was excellent but, along with drinks, on the pricey side! Your customer service and...

Thank you Michael for sharing your review, and we are pleased that you had a pleasant stay with us. I am sorry that you were not informed about the pantry on your floor, as all guests are normally informed of this on check in, so my apologies for this. We do have a breakfast option that includes bottomless tea or...

Got to keep this below the 999 word limit as I find when I'm really really happy about something, I'm prone to waffle.....I travel a lot for work, to the point where the old initial joy of "jetting" out to a far flung place, has long been replaced by the crushing reality of trying to live life out of a...

Had a very enjoyable stay. Very friendly staff in Christmas jumpers! Room on top floor had a really nice terrace. The food and restaurant were great also. The hotel is in a quiet location but very convenient for travelling by bus or tube around London.

Lovely hotel, convenient location. Felt like a bit of a hidden gem. The rooms were really nicely designed and I enjoyed the balcony with a nice sunny couple of days. Had the room service one night, which was pleasantly surprising. Most other meals I ventured out.

Love the location, the staff's super friendliness (and garish Xmas jumpers) the complimentary wine and the overall style of this boutique hotel in the heart of beardy trendy Hoxton. Five mins walk from Farringdon or get a 243 bus almost from the door right into the heart of theatreland - 20 mins. The rooms here are not as small as...

Lovely design of rooms. Spacious. Really good bed (we had a king sized bed.) nice touches like magazines provided in room (Conde Naste traveller, red, etc), high end toiletries, coffee machine, water and ice provided on each floor. Great shutters which provided a full blackout in room for a lie in.

Wow been staying here off and on for the last five years and it just keeps on getting better! The rooms are the epitome of modern minimalism but still homey and comfortable. Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Clerkenwell
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
