We booked the champagne afternoon tea for my birthday treat whilst on a weekend in London. It had such good reviews and we weren't disappointed! The sandwiches were fresh and delicious and the scones, plain and fruit, served with jam and cream. There was a good variety of petite cakes and we were soon filled up! There was a choice...

We stayed at the Bentley as we needed to be in Kensington for an event. We were upgraded from a queen to a king double on check-in. The room was beautiful, spacious and luxuriously decorated. The bed was fantastic and the bathroom great. The room had all the amenities we would expect from a five star hotel. Breakfast was very...

Very quiet neighborhood in Kensington with transport links for the whole of London. The staff are incredible, the breakfast I got served was the best I'd ever had at any hotel and it had a complete sense of luxury from the lobby to my bathroom - The bar was also cosy, not too expensive and covered in luxury.

Hosted a private party at The Bentley Hotel: great service, staff and atmosphere, especially loved gluten free canapés! Very beautiful interiors and perfect location, would love to stay there again, thank you!

This is a fine hotel; we have stayed here a half dozen times. Rooms are spacious for London, and well furnished. The last time we were there, however, while the rooms were very clean, they looked like they could use some basic maintenance. My principal issue with the hotel is that their rates seem to vary significantly. On some trips,...

We chose The Bentley as it was in a quiet location and within walking distance of The Albert Hall where we were going to a concert. It couldn't have been better, our room was spacious with a large bathroom, complete with Jacuzzi bath which was a nice surprise, and the bed was large and comfortable. The service from the reception...

This is a very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The room was quite large with a very large bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room was quite dark; good for sleeping off the jet lag. We had breakfast in the room twice and it was excellent; the croissants and fresh fruit was some of the best of our...

We had afternoon tea in very nice surroundings with very friendly staff. However, the afternoon tea is not what one would expect in a five star hotel especially given the cost of the afternoon tea. The sandwiches were very average and the scones were very dry, however, the cakes were very nice. However, a big disappointment especially in a five...

Told me and other guests staying at the hotel that black taxi fares start at £45 which is a lie I found out after flagging one down outside and getting in I like them they are highly educated and they are the famous black cab drivers of London they have always been great when I've been in town the guy...

So went with my friend for an afternoon tea. The hotel is very welcoming and we were greeted by the staff, which is to be fromThe Bentley Hotel. The place is beautiful, very decorative, I absolutely loved it! We were shown to the area where we would be seated, it had a very regal decor. I am a pure vegetarian...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
