After spending 5 weeks traveling around England we decided to spend our last week in London sightseeing. Having spent most of out time away at the "Premier Inn" chain we decided to spend out last week with them as well. The hotel is well positioned being a 5 minute walk to Earls Court station and walking distance to major attractions....

This is a typical Premier Inn,, no surprises. The rooms are small but always clean and fresh. I have been staying in this hotel for the last 5 years. I always request a top floor room in the main building. I travel alone and I don't like the idea of having to cross the bridge to the building on the...

We arrived Wednesday just before the rush at check in as while checking in lots arrived some with children some alone and couples. Lady at check in very pleasant and helpful she contacted a disabled access taxi and duly booked it for us for that evening. Had trouble gaining access from reception to lift as persons with children decided to...

The hotel was superb and the staff were very friendly! The rooms were extremely clean! The elevators were in very good condition and the security too was good! The meals and bar too was real threat! The quiet and reserved environment was what thrilled me most! Only respectful people stay at Premier inn! The rate is quite high but it's...

We have returned this morning from one nights stay at this hotel, which we booked for a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. Two minutes walk from Earls Court tube station, it is located on a pretty quiet street. I had rung ahead asking for a high floor, and this is exactly what we got. We never heard a sound...

Good location, near Earls Court Underground station. Just 35 minutes from Heathrow Airport by underground (cheaper than taxi or Heathrow Express. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel .

I stayed in this hotel for the second time earlier this month. I was given a double bed room on the first floor; the bed was very comfortable and the aircon was not too fierce. Although situated directly above the train tracks, the soundproofing in the hotel is very effective and I was not aware of any external noises in...

I stayed here for 1 night whilst on a course in London. The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel was in a good location. What I really liked were the friendly staff and the breakfast in the morning which was excellent.

Stayed here when in London for an event at The Albert Hall. Couple of stops on the underground but is actually walkable. As usual with Premier Inn, clean comfortable and excellent value for money. The staff on the front desk were really helpful and friendly. If we went again we would not have the breakfast....there was a Costa coffee machine...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
