Lovely hotel in great location in center of Greenwich. Very pleasant helpful staff on Reception desk and in restaurant. Breakfast was superb with many choices. Standard room was adequate for our needs - clean and very comfortable bed and pillows although room was a bit small. Bathroom was fresh and looked new. Our only disappointment was that we decided to...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights. The staff were very very friendly and the hotel, although showing signs of age, was clean. There was however one major snag. In spite of the fact that we had upgraded to an "executive double" the storage for our clothes, and everything else, was just one 12" by 12" by 5 ft...

This place was faultless in every respect. I was having misgiving about the booking after reading some negative comments but it was really really good. Great staff who gave us free fizz when they found out it was our anniversary, clean rooms, good quality food and perfect location plus parking. Will be coming back to stay any time I am...

A second visit to this iconic hotel was much needed. We decided to drive this time and park in the hotel car park , which worked out brilliant. We got there early to find our room was ready and although a Smaller room this time around still very comfortable . The hotel is situated in the heart of Greenwich near...

Everything you would expect from a four star hotel plus the benefit of being in Greenwich and next to Greenwich Park. Good breakfast, good coffee, clean etc. The only downside is that the beds are rock hard. Some people like this but I don't. I had a the worst nights sleep in ages and woke up withe terrible backache.

This is an impressive building but hard to find entrance. Near to all sites in Greenwich. Park at top of road which has observatory. Room was in the attic and small but adequate and clean. Had little window seat. Breakfast was amazing with buffet cold and hot. Hotel has training and conference rooms. Also there is a room near lifts...

Stayed here for one night courtesy of a Travel Zoo offer. Could not fault it. The room, evening meal, breakfast, staff and location all exceeded expectations. Just hoping Travel Zoo offer it again and we shall be the first in the queue! A truly perfect short break.

Great location if you plan to spending time in the area as tourist. It's almost in the middle of all the local attraction. The room was clean, bed comfortable, good size. No air conditioning though, so you need to open the window or it will get a bit stuffy. My room facing a small courtyard, so not much of a...

Thank you for your recent comments and rating We unfortunately have to put window restrictors on all our windows ,in case someone tries to open the window and thinks it is a door, or a child looks out and over stretches themselves. Our revenue team regularly check our prices with our competitive colleagues and they are raised and lowered when...

Stayed here again whilst attending Country2Country at the 02. So easy to get there, bus stops just round the corner. Hotel was lovely. Good selection at breakfast and later over the weekend, which is good after a late night! Would not use anywhere else when visiting this part of London. Thank you once again for looking after us so well....

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
