You get everything in Cardiff. It's located conveniently near Padding train/underground station and bus tour pick-up point. The provision of a full English breakfast would light you up until late afternoon. For dinner, you have good selection from fish and chips, fast-food, to romantic restaurants in the neighborhood. The most important thing for a working-traveler is the Internet access whenever...

I stayed at a single room with ensuite bathroom, and shared toilet. It was a mission getting any luggage up to my room, as there were no elevators, and I had to carry my luggage three floors up to my room. The room was extremely small, with barely enough room to get from the door to the bed, and once...

I stayed at Cardiff to be near Paddington station for my early Heathrow departure. It was better than expected. I was upgraded to a twin room en suite. The room was clean and functional, which is all I needed. They are doing some work on the facility, which is appropriate for an older place. It is a walk up, and...

We paid £78 for a double room on a Saturday night, therefore the Cardiff Hotel was value for money in London. Our room (on the first floor) was clean, and the bed surprisingly comfortable, whilst the bathroom was very small, you are only it for one of two reasons, so it is fine. The location is perfect for Paddington station,...

This might be a little bit of longer review than the usual, so grab your tea and tune in. I randomly picked this hotel from a booking.com. The price was decent and the location was perfect as I was told. I was planning to stay for two days only, travel to Wales and come back to a different hotel, but...

My wife and I needed a place to stay in London for two nights at the end of our trip in the UK last week. We found the Cardiff Hotel on laterooms.com and it had vacancies and was near the Paddington train station; making it an easy jump to Heathrow. Because of the third-party booking, I think we got a...

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights over the bank holiday weekend and would have no hesitation in making another booking. It is practically across the road from Paddington station. There are some renovation works going on but these did not affect my stay. Room had all necessary mod-cons and even a selection of herbal teas! Bathroom very small...

I have stayed at other hotels in the immediate area which were a comparable price, but this one came recommended (albeit from 6 years ago) so I decided to give it a try. Please note though - this review is about the room we stayed in - Room 7. I would hope that other rooms are better, as there are...

This hotel is s conveniently located, within walking distance of Paddington Station and the Heathrow Rail Link. I stayed there for 7 days and called it 'my home away from home.' The staff were very friendly and helpful. As already noted, this hotel does not have a lift and all material clearly states this. My room, a single room was...
