We chosed this hotel because of a very good location, 5 minutes walking from Victoria station. The price was really high, so I expected at least some additional value compared to cheap London hostels, where I used to stay before. Unfortunately there was nothing like...More
My wife, sons and myself stayed in this hotel over the first weekend in March this year. It was very centrally located just a couple of minutes away from Victoria Station and was only about 10 minutes walk from Buckingham Palace. It is an average...More
We were greeted upon arrival by a very helpful lady on reception and given directions to our family room. Our room was basic but very clean and comfortable, 2 double beds for 3 adults and a 6year old was fine for us. Room was pretty...More
I could say I hated this hotel stay, but those words wouldn’t be strong enough. I will start with the positives of this hotel, there is only one so don’t blink. It's close to Victoria train station; funny thing is this was also a negative....More
Stayed at that hotel for one night of a business trip. My room, across the street was a tiny single bed camber. Everything was clean, furniture looked quite new, but right beside the rail road tracks, I could not only hear but feel trains passing....More

Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and
some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.

St. George's Tavern has good food. I took my 15 year old granddaughter there three times during our week staying at the Comfort Inn. Just go around the corner to the left and walk up High Street to the corner. Go downstairs to eat. The bar is crowded and noisy on the main floor. There are several convenience stores on Buckingham Palace Road on the way to Victoria Station.

I stayed in a room across the street from the lobby - part of the hotel. Didn't experience any train noise. St. George's Tavern has good food. Very near the hotel around the corner and up the street. Go downstairs to eat - it's noisy and crowded on the ground floor at the bar. My granddaughter and I had dinner there three times in our five days in London. It's that good.

Have had no experience of requesting a room on a higher floor, so can't say on that point. We had a basement room in the main building which was fine, but absolutely no view. Used the hotel as an excellent base during our stay, it was really conveniently situated for us. Il Posto, Italian restaurant, about 10 mins walk away was fantastic.
