Negative: Family room (room 204) is small, hardly any space to more around; has no aircon and is uncomfortably hot to sleep at night; too noisy due to the train station nearby. Breakfast is average. No laundry services. Positive: Though room is small, it is remarkably clean. Room has a decent sized safe which can fit a laptop. Location is...

Recently stayed at this Hotel for two nights in a single room which cost £79 a night. Location was reasonably convenient for getting around and the room was clean, those are the plus points. The negatives I must state: Felt the room was too small.. if Id known it was going to be this pokey I would have gone with...

Do not give them a credit card number if you book this hotel from abroad. We booked from the USA and as my husband was involved in a serious accident in Paris we had to cancel our trip to London eight days -EIGHT DAYS before our projected arrival. They refused to refund our money and indeed charged VAT as well...

I recently stayed here at the Comfort Inn with my daughter and two grand children for a week and we was very pleased with our room despite the poor write ups that we had seen on Trip Advisor. Our room was very new with a modern bathroom and was exceptionally clean. We had air conditioning and free in room wifi....

Great location, easy walking to many of the sights. We walked 7-9 miles everyday. Room was in the building across the street from the office. The building looked like it had just been remodeled and was very clean. The room was on the small size, typical for the area. Bathroom was very nice. Yea there was some train noise but...

I haved stayed in this area of London a few times. Hotel is a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station. Plenty of restaurants, fast food, grocery stores in the area. I had a small, single room with A-C and free wi-fi. Room and bathroom clean and new towels provided daily. As mentioned in other reviews there is train/railway noise, but...

I'll deal with the negatives first. I telephoned from Australia to make the booking because of my physical limitations. I told them "No steps or stairs". When I arrived, I had to negotiate several steps to access the room. And the room was noisy! All night, I was awakened to what sounded like trolley suitcases being dragged along the road....

I stayed here for one night on business. I needed to be in walking distance of Victoria Station for an early morning train. The hotel's location is excellent for easy transport links, but of course you can hear the trains. This did not stop me from sleeping and on the whole the hotel did the job. The hotel reception staff...

Despite booking a quiet room NINE months in advance, our room was not ready on arrival at 7pm! It was not ready the next day either until after 7pm, so we were forced to take a room right on the main, very noisy road/railway. Plenty of other options available in the area.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
