Booked this thinking it might be a bit ropey but really close to the coach station. Able to leave our bags which were delivered to our room when we came back to check in, had a fab nights sleep - basement room was small but bigger than some 5 stars that I've stayed in at South Kensington! Shower was great,...

My girl friend paid for a weekend away in London for my Christmas present. Which was to take a coach, stay at a hotel, watch a show and meet up with some friends. Our coach arrived at Victoria coach station and the hotel was only minutes walk. The hotel staff were polite and welcoming, we arrived before our check in...

The place looks fairly outdated. It would be nice to see it redesigned, it really needs a fresh look. The rooms and hotel are clean though and I can't fault them on that. The room facilities are okay - they do offer a kettle (coffee/tea options) which is great and you can also use the coffee machine in the breakfast...

Visited for the New Year Celebrations and although I had an awesome NY and find it difficult to complain this is one of the most expensive and most dissapointing hotel stays I've had in London. Although the hotel was clean, warm, great location and tidy to look at, the noise was horrendous! Paid £150 per night and stayed for 5...

This must be one of London's worst hotel. Directly next door to the railway and the passing trains all the time, the whole hotel shakes. We got a price of booking.com. Room cost was pulled immediately from the account, and it was much higher than stated. They draw well the money at once so people will not be able to...

I don't mind small rooms when I visit London, as I rarely spend much time there anyway except from sleeping. The room was clean and neat - the bathroom was actually so tiny it made me laugh. But the smell! The sewer stench coming from the shower drain now and then was sickening. I guess I won't use this hotel...

We booked into this hotel after vacating a different hotel on the same road which was not up to scratch. The male receptionist could not have been more helpful.he let us view one of the rooms before we made a decision. He gave us lots of information and provided us with a map and gave us some good hints and...

I was browsing for a good deal for a hotel near Victoria Coach Station for easy access to and from the airports. I saw this fantastic offer through Agoda of a room for 2 adults and there was this offer of a single room that was supposedly to accommodate 2 adults of which was a surprise to me. Looking at...

Our room was in a building across the road from where the hotel reception was. So it felt more like we had an apartment than a hotel room. The room was comfortable. A very good bathroom with an excellent shower. Free tea & coffee in the room. Great location given that I was arriving and travelling out from Gatwick. Some...

We paid £574 room only, for 4 nights in a family room. 15th - 18th August 2016. The room was average and the carpet seemed a bit grubby. When unpacking I found a pubic hair on the bedside table and a while later my wife found bloody fingerprints on the spare toilet roll. I took photographs of the blood to...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
