Good location in a very quiet area. Just down the road is Kensington gardens and Palace. Near bus and tube routes. Hotel is adequate, more Bed and Breakfast than 4 star hotel. Rooms are minute, the hotel is basically a house split into rooms with a breakfast room in the basement. Bedroom and bathroom very clean and modern. It was...

Located in a nice quiet area and close to tube stations. Rooms are small like most rooms in London, but they're recently renovated and are comfortable and very clean. Staff were also nice. Would stay here again.

Booked hotel with theatre offer for 2 nights. As it was cheap deal we weren't too surprised to find it was a small room with no air con. A fan was provided but not ideal to leave on all night. There was so much noise from other guests at night - up and down stairs/corridors and slamming doors until 2/3...

We were in London for two nights and booked this hotel due to price compared to others in the area. The location was very close to the underground and not far from our destinations on the trip. Although the room was small and the hotel is nothing spectacular, the value for money was perfect. The bathroom was large with a...

So glad we picked this one! Dont go by the picture on the opening page, that was before they renovated. The room we stayed in was small (standard central London size really), but clean, well appointed and nicely laid out. The staff was non intrusive but always available to help. The breakfast deserves a special mention. The generous buffet and...

I stayed here for three nights recently. The room was great, and on the bigger side compared to some of the places I have stayed in London. The hallway like entrance to the room was basically an amazing walk in closet. My room faced the street, and unfortunately there seemed to be loud drunk young people out on the street...

This was a last minute booking for a quick overnight business trip. Hotel is well located a couple of mins from Bayswater and Hyde Park. The room had three single beds but was small, was fine for one but three would have been a crowd. Good shower, clean rooms and quiet night so all good for a relatively cheap stopover....

Few issues with this "hotel". Room very small and stuffy. Bed was poor think would been nicer on floor. Some green pillow thing well I don't even no why that was there. Heat was to much and no way to turn it down!! Went into toilet floor dirty enough said to that. Asked for two champagne glasses as took my...

We really like Princes square hotel, the room was clean modern, and big enough for 3 people. It was summer in london and not air conditioner buy i think thats usual in this city. Location is fantastic 3 blocks away from bayswater tube and hydepark. Front desk not to nice . But i would love to go back!

London budget hotels can be pretty ropey, so I came here with low expectations. What I found would do justice to a mainstream chain. All staff were extremely friendly and the room, though on the small side, was perfectly adequate and spotless. Comfy bed, pleasant en-suite and tea/coffee facilities, complete with biscuits! Lastminute.com were charging £40 extra for breakfast so...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
