First, the minuses. As is the case, apparently, with most London hotels, the room was small. The bathroom was very small. If you are oversized or have large amounts of luggage, this hotel is not really for you. But... It is a three minute stroll from Paddington Station - the terminus for the Heathrow Express and a stop on the...

I mainly wanted to be close to Paddington Station, so that I could get to Heathrow fast and was not planning to be in my room other than at night. Given those requirements, the room was fine. Our ground floor room was very small, with barely any space around the bed ... let alone for 2 large suitcases. The window...

A few minutes walk from Paddington Station, the Castleton turned out to be a little gem. Though the room was small it was well designed with space for suitcases, a wardrobe and shelving. Everything was clean and nicely decorated. Our window overlooked London Street (and a pub) but noise wasn't a problem. We had aircon and good wifi signal. Ensuite...

Extremely rude front desk staff, horrible hotel room, and the bathroom is a modular unit! The bathroom felt like you were on a ship-creaking and swaying floor.. And the price for this place is outrageous! Stay across the street at the Westpoint. Hotel. I usually stay there, but they were full. I will NEVER use the Castleton Hotel again

Stay in London Zone 1 means to be close to all the main sightseeing attractions. The hotel is really close to one of the main Subway stations, Paddington, which ensures a really easy walk around London. The room is fair, but the bathroom is incredible small. I mean REALLY small. bear in mind that I'm 1.92m with 84kg, so, not...

Had an enjoyable two night stay at the Castleton. Pleasantly pleased as really wasn't sure what we would arrive to according to previous Trip Advisor comments.Castleton Hotel is ideally located within a three minute walk from Paddington Tube St. Arrived at hotel before check in time - but luckily hotel holds your luggage for you (upon arrival and on departure...

Booked a room at the Castleton for convinience to Hyde Park as we needed to be in the Park late for a charity event. The Castleton was 10 mins walk through what looked to be a safe well lit area. Staff were very helpful and accomodating when we wanted to leave our bags before check in; the rooms, although small,...

Stayed here for one night. was put in the basement underground rooms, as there was only one room left. thought i had a double room, ended up with a double and twin bed, literally no space to move! no table or anything. Washroom felt like you were on a boat, so tiny no space to move. At night the vibe...

Thank you 'sunnydee88' for reviiewing our hotel. We always appreciate feedbeck from our guests. I am sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us in one of our family rooms. The hotel was lovely and clean, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Took a little while to check in as there was obviously a double booking, but to our delight we got a family room so were initially very pleased. Then I went to use the toilet and the seat was broken and placed in a position so it couldn't be noticed....

This is a no frills hotel with great location...Convenient. Close to the tube (1 block to Paddington) and other transport- bus lines. Very clean rooms..bathroom are a bit small. Walls are thin and can hear people talking in hallway/next door. Breakfast was great-lots of choices. Constantly replenished. Although can boring after 6 days :-), lots of other option/bars/fast-food/restaurant/convenience store within...
