Lovely hotel in a great location. Convenient for both Victoria (10 minutes walk) & Pimlico (5 minute walk) tube stations. Pleasant friendly staff, spotlessly clean modern hotel. Rooms a tad small but had a great nights sleep, really comfy bed. Great value for money, we will stay here again on our next trip to London.

Good hotel with a great location in a beautiful neighbourhood, relatively close to the tube and to convenient bus stations. The rooms may not be very big but they're clean and comfortable, two very important facts to consider. The breakfast was better than what we were expecting and the croissants were delicious). The staff was very helpful and nice. We...

If you are looking for a hotel that definitively felt and looked newly refurbished at a reasonable rate for the centre of town, at just over £100 for a single room, then the Lidos should fit the bill. Everything was as I would have expected for a last minute booking 1 night central London business stay that was about 15...

This hotel is about a 7 minute walk from victoria station which was very convienient. We payed £325 for 3 nights which included breakfast. Excellent value considerinf that accomodation in London is very expensive. I found the reception staff here very friendly with a good morning and a good night said with a smile on their face. Breakfast staff could...

Good breakfast although the eating place is kinda small. Near to Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, London eye and other attractions but not the tower bridge. Around 10 min walk from Pimlico station. A good location for a few days of vacation. Sainsbury and Tesco was just 5 min walking distance.

3.5/5 - Staff were very friendly, helpful & sincere. Buffet breakfast was good quality self-serve service; croissants, espresso & cappuccino were provided. The bedroom & bathroom were quite small; there was just enough space for our carry-on luggages & smaller size guests; the room was great for short stay. The entire establishment was reasonably clean. Bed was very comfortable; shower...

Price consider as fair. Room is small. But reasonable to the price paid. Stayed one night in this hotel. Staffs are friendly. As we just touched down in Heathrow, we managed to store our HUGE luggage in the hotel locker prior check in. Beds are comfy, shower experience is good. Just nice for an overnight stay.

I only stayed one night but found the staff friendly, the room comfortable, clean and adequate (although small). Basic but sufficient breakfast. Apart from the size of the room, I can't fault it for it's price. I paid £65 for a double bed. Luggage storage room not locked so lock your own bags.

We stayed at the Lidos in September, and it was HOT in London while we were there. The rooms have no air conditioning. When booking, we didn't think this would be an issue in September but it definitely was. We were too hot to sleep most nights, and the lack of sleep definitely affected our trip. That being said, when...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
