A clean, comfortable and cozy place to stay while in London. Staff are one of a kind. Located in a bustling neighborhood and conveniently connected to public transportation it is a real hidden gem. Shhh, don't tell anybody!

Personnel is kind and helpful. My kid fell ill during our vacation and both Anto and Magdalena were very nice with him and myself, walking me to the closest pharmacy, calling the doctor and even giving my kid a nice present to wish him a fast recovery. The place is very clean and you truly feel confortable there. I got...

Staff lovely and very helpful. Happy to take care of luggage. Everywhere spotlessly clean. Very honest about rooms. Mine was small but they made sure I knew exactly what to expect. Although small it had everything I could need

A very warm reception from the staff who were very helpful in advising us of where we could eat locally as we had arrived late in the evening. (We chose the Pimlico Tandoori just around the corner, 2 minute walk, which was good value) There were many other options. Our room at The Blades was clean with a lovely new...

I will definitely try this hotel again, should i visit london. Even a good location near victoria does not makes this place more than sverage price. Also, staff repsonse by email was so quick that i was not worried about reservation. Breakfasts were without additional payment. Like other old buildings, my room was tiny but bearable for a few days....

We would like to emphasize that the room sizes for a budget hotel of our standing are actually generous in size, and all our single rooms have a double bed, except one very small single which we sell at a very cheap rate. The older member of staff referred to is no longer employed here, which is good. We thank...

Ok, so this hotel is small. It seems to be a converted apartment unit. I would guess it has less than 15 units total. It is part of a 4 story, blocklong building. The room was small by U. S. standards, but nicely appointed. It was very quiet and we felt very safe. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful....

Excellent location with all different transport options around the corner and still very quiet neighbourhood. Our family (5persons) enjoyed our stay, children slept well and enjoyed breakfast. No more need to look a hotel in London as we'll be back.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it was everything I needed it to be ! I was visiting friends living in London but in two different directions so I wanted to be located in central London . Blades was perfect for arriving from Gatwick on Gatwick express and for a female travelling alone . The staff were friendly at all...

Stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting London. The location is great just 5 minutes wlk from the railway station and tube. The hotel itself has more the feel of a friendly B & B as it's in an old victorian house. So there are no lifts but the staff offered to take our lugage upstairs if we wanted. Every...

On arrival I was unexpectedly upgraded from a single to a triple room at no extra cost. All amenities were there (tea, coffee, hairdryer). Plenty of hot water in the shower which was clean and powerful. Bed was very comfortable indeed - I don't normally sleep well in hotels but slept very well here. Breakfast is simple continental style but...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
