Very friendly staff, the room was comfortable and clean. Great location for Greenwich, Blackheath and Central London. All night bus service 108b runs nearby to North Greenwich, DLR and Jubilee Line. Good bar.

Used here last night for the boxing at the o2 (which is about £5 in a taxi away) Great location if attending an event at the o2. Basic rooms which I was fine with and clean. Cheap and good value. Decent pint too

The staff were extremely friendly and polite. As the bar staff are not involved with the hotel facilities, their knowledge of what was included in the room, was not great, however they were extremely helpful if there was anything that we needed, for example a hairdryer and iron. The room was very clean and cosy, once we got the heating...

The Angerstein is in a nice enough little place, especially will bare in mind if ever go to O2. The highlight off the bat was the very nice landlord, Barry. Good guy, let us park on site, got in early, and couldnt help us enough. Made us very welcome and ensured we were happy with everything at all times. It...

I stayed here overnight as I was watching a concert at the o2. Welcoming, friendly staff. Comfy room and bed. Walking distance to McDonalds and a 20 minute walk to the o2. Would definitely stay here again, brilliant price for the hotel room. Really happy!!!

Took our daughter to university in Greenwich and stayed here over night. It's about a 20 minute walk into Greenwich. The downstairs is a proper London pub, pool table and all. The staff are very friendly. There is a separate entrance for residents. Some rooms share a toilet but we had an en suite on the top floor. Very close...

The staff were very welcoming and we felt comfortable being there, as soon as we got there . Rooms were comfortable. Would recommended this hotel to others. O2 arena is roughly a 20 minute walk away. A high street and shops also within walking distance .

My partner and I were visiting London and needed to stay in Greenwich. We arrived later than planned but the staff were very accomodating and friendly. We had a double room which was comfortable and nicely decorated. Nice clean bathroom with a great shower which is rare! The location is great, only a short walk to the O2 and North...

Thank you so much for your review. Sorry about the light situation it happens sometimes. We are on a noisy road and being an old building we have no lift so its not ideal for everyone . Even though we hope we see you again Regards Angerstein hotel

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
