Hotel was clean, great location to Brick Lane/Shorditch area. Sheets and bedding did have a strange smell to them, but were clean, and the rooms were very small. But for a short trip it's served a purpose and worked well.

I was looking for a budget hotel in the city and decided to book this one after reading some good reviews... Mistake! I’ll start by the positive things: Good location Friendly staff Good price for central London But: The bed was very small The mattress was way too soft It was clean…ish, it could have been better (e.g. the top...

....long waiting in queues in fornt of service desk, no information given to me during long senslesss waiting for check in, overwhelmed staff, staring at their front desk computers, gave no announcement to the growing queue of people waiting for check in. Finally

It's like a ship cabin. Or a cell. It's basically a prison ship. A double might be ok, but only chose a twin if you're very comfortable cozying up. I've just checked in. It might get better. This is serving as therapy for me. But I'm pretty down about the place rn. It's clean. That's something. And the location is...

The location is perfect: from Liverpool Street you can reach every venue in London. The hotel is clean and perfect for short period (above all if you choose the room without windows). Highly recommended.

There is nothing good about this hotel I'm afraid. The rooms are so small and smell. The manager was kind enough to help but it is very difficult when there is nothing to offer. 25 minutes to check in was the start of a very bad experience.

I stayed here because I was over on business, I was unsure about the hotel initially - it was booked for me. I have to say, it was a really really pleasant stay! I must admit, when I checked in I lay down briefly and I could hear the trains passing - this was slightly annoying. However, I wasn't in...

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and was put on the first floor. I never slept at all due to the Underground rumbling all night once a minute - the noise was like someone dragging a Supermarket goods container across cobbles all night. I had a really important meeting the next day and begged the staff...

Stayed for 1 night on business. Checked in late due to work commitments and got a basement room with no windows. This wasn't an issue as, when booking, it did state no windows. Room was small and very warm. There is a digital thermostat that controls aircon which said 24 deg. Every time I turned it on it stayed on...

I stayed in the smallest room ive ever experiensed in a hotel clean tough. Also you could hear the underground train quite clear eventough I stayed at...

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
