The pictures will say it all, if you want to sleep in a dirty bed with cockroaches stay here. If you want a rude hotel manager who is very very very unhelpful stay here. Please please don't even if you are desperate. Fatima the manager refused to give hotel owners name to complain further.

Adequate. Short walk from Bayswater Station, convenient enough for seeing London from. Cheap, small cramped room, very small bathroom, with basically a double wardrobe door to squeeze through. Cheapish hotel for London, don't expect much but somewhere adequate to clean up & sleep. Cramped but clean. Carpet tired & taped up in places, lift & wifi unreliable. Very basic breakfast,...

If you are looking for a budget hotel, Central location, Bed and breakfast and Wifi, then this is the best. The hotel is situated in a square among hostels and other hotels. It is 5 minutes walk from the Tube station, Restaurants and shops. The staff are always helpful and friendly, although the quality of the rooms can vary from...

A very nice hotel which is located in a pretty fancy neighborhood. It's not very cheap, but it has clean, comfortable( but small) rooms. The breakfast is a bit small with not much to choose out of but it's good enough. The personal is friendly and the location is perfect if you want to travel by metro, which is located...

The worst hotel ive ever stayed in my life. Dirty, tiny rooms,no air conditioning, booked a double room, what a joke. Double room lol. Yea for bunk beds!!!! I couldn't wait to get out of there. Its a hell hole. It's an embarrassment to the London tourist board. Hair all over the kennel they call a bathroom. Toilet seat wasn't fixed...

We stayed here for three nights and we were shocked. The location of the hotel is good. We were going to check in and we were told that the elevator was out order or it wasnt any. Thats ok, we are relative young people able to walk several stairs. We got a room on the top floor and the stairs...

Me and my wife stayed here for one night, never again!!! The room was in the basement and it was that small you could not swing a cat in there. And the veiw out of the window was like a buiding site.(see picture) And the breakfast was awful, we had to collect it from reception in a bag and take...

We turned up on the Tuesday morning with our suitcase at about 8:30am We were told the rooms aren't ready until 2:00pm, which is fine. I was shocked to find out they had bag storage downstairs which was a single room with everybody's luggage in there. We had to take it down ourselves, no offer for help or anything. Then...

We spent four night at the Wedgewood with my sister. At first our room wasn't ready until 2pm and it was noon... Then it was very very noisy, I could hear the lady next door yelling and talking and also drying her hair at 3 in the morning... Didn't even wanted to try the breakfast because of the comments on...

I booked this because it looked rather grand outside (which it still does), and is in a good location in Bayswater. The rooms were very, very tight and we had to negotiate tight staircases with our luggage (no lifts) on the third floor. The shower/toilet was really the size of a wardrobe. In other places in London, the warm breakfast...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
