We made this trip on a tight budget and admit didn't pay very much at all. If returning to London I would pay a little bit more next time and go elsewhere as this place isn't very nice at all. We booked four nights and it was very easy to find from Victoria bus station. We stayed at the annexe...

I booked a single room through Expedia.co.uk, received confirmation of reservation received, I contacted the hotel to confirm details and enquire about staying an extra day if needed. Staff confirmed the booking however they were rude about my enquiry for the extra night saying for no reason, during the conversation the staff member stated they were already fully book today...

Booked a suite for 4. Turns out the suite is on the top floor. Our luggages are quite heavy, so there are some heavy lifting since there is no lift. Room is small but clean, with a queen bed and two double beds. The private bathroom is extremely tiny, and when you shower the water with be all over the...

I made an Internet reservation for a room with twin beds which was confirmed. When we arriived we were given a room with one single bed and the explanation there was a plumbing problem with the room I reserved. I found out the next day they had simply rented our room to someone else and lied about it. The second...

"It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money — that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying...

I am appalled if I have to stay in a dingy place, with dilapidated, old pieces of furniture. I perceive it as an insult to me and shameful for you to put anybody up in a room like that. The room needs serious renovating. And until it is, you should not be allowed to rent it out. You should be...

This is an awful place to stay - we were greeted at the door by a smoking man who told us someone would be with us in a moment - 10mins later he decided to come and check us in. After a few grunts from 'staff' (they could have been anyone who had walked in off the street for all...

For what I paid, this hotel is good, relative to other hotels, and in line with my expectations. Clean bed, room, bathroom, and breakfast room. Efficient front desk staff. I paid in cash only at check-out time, provided full personal details at check-in. No complaints really. WYSIWYP - What you see is what you pay.

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
