Hotel was ok, but the bells of st pauls chimimg on the hour , every hour wasn't conducive to a good nights sleep. You come out of the hotel and there is st pauls cathederal...great location! The practicality of the location is another matter!! One of the hotel staff , the heating has a mind of its own, or an...

I was on a business trip during Sep 2016 and I found this hotel as very convenient specially for a business traveler. Check-in/ check out was super fast. Rooms have all required amenities, very well equipped and maintained. Restaurant serves a good breakfast if you book on BB basis, if not you can order a wide range of dishes from...

The hotel is very centrally located in St Pauls and its easy to get around the local area with a great deal of food outlets and pubs. However, the check in is automated and very impersonal given that there are staff on reception they don't seem to want to help. The checkout was much the same. The hotel is very...

We have stayed in the Club Quarters in America and this is a similar set up with a clubby atmosphere in a superb situation for sightseeing. Although the hotel looks like it was converted from something else it has all you need for a comfortable stay with helpful staff. If this is your first visit to London seriously consider this...

So we stayed at Club Quarters St.Paul for a Christmas shopping spree vacation, Dec 10-13. The front desk service was good and the room was modern and clean. We had booked a One Room Suite (with kitchenette). We did however not opt for the breakfast. Only disappointment with the stay/room was that the sofa bed in our room was broken,...

Great hotel with super facilities and very pleasant staff. Little things like free bottled water, London Guide books in the rooms, computer access, free Wifi and coffee in the lounge area make it the perfect place to stay.

We are regular theatre goers and usually fly into Gatwick (from Dublin) so St Pauls is a good location for us. My Dad had done a lot of work around the St Pauls area and while I was always used to using the Gatwick Express to Victoria service (and then getting the tube to wherever I was staying), he recommended...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
