The food in the restaurant was nice and the hotel is based in the centre of London, extremely accessible to any form of public transport and surrounded by many restaurants/ bars....

My son and I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel the staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The rooms were spotless and the complementary teas and coffee in the chill out area of the hotel were much appreciated after a long day sightseeing.

The hotel staff were amazing, they were friendly and professional. Our room was very nice with a high standard of cleanliness, the bed was really comfortable which meant a good nights sleep. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to our friends.

This is a nice small hotel almost next door to St Paul's! We were able to walk from there to most of the tourist sites what we wanted to visit. We found the bed to be comfortable and the ensuite to be sufficient. We will probably stay here again!

Location good, room ok size. The noise is ridiculous. It is like sleeping in city with window open! No soundproofing. To top that off, Rooms internally is alive with hum of poor quality machinery. I unplugged a microwave and the mini bar... I took out a fluorescent light bulb that made crazy noise. Am here for an important meeting and...

Great location, 2 minutes walk from St. Paul's cathedral and underground. Staff members have been in general nice and the service, including free beverages, is good. Unfortunately, our room was located in front of the lift and it was quite noisy.

This hotel is well appointed but out of the city enough to get a really good, undisturbed nights sleep. The rooms are clean, comfortable and warm. The beds are amazing, probably the best I've slept in at a hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the amenities are excellent. We particularly liked the lounge area for relaxing and...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
