I could go on and on about the many imperfections of this hotel - the general worn out feel, the shabbiness, etc - but frankly if you expect anything else for the price then you need a reality check. I paid £59 for a bunk room, including breakfast. The beds were comfortable, the staff pleasant and the breakfast was delicious....

Booked this hotel for a nearby conference in June 2014. The hotel is a short walk from Russell Square station, and had a quick check in process. The corridors are decorated in an old 80's style, and the rooms are sparsely decorated. I had a single bed, desk, chair and sink with two lights. The bathrooms are shared between corridors....

We stayed in this hotel as it was cheap. The reception staff and porters were really nice an friendly plus helpful. The room it's self was very damp an there was mould on the ceiling the beds represented why it was a cheap priced hotel but I found them fine for one night the shared toilet an bathroom were quite...

First visit back for a while and was dissapointed to find the bar had gone.Very good value for money in a very good location 5 mins walk from Euston station 10 min walk from St Pancrass Kings Cross.Plenty of choice at breakfast though smell of fish coming up the lift shaft was a bit offputting. £66 for a twin room...

This hotel has been our London budget hotel of choice for the last 10 years and we enjoyed returning here July 2014. It is the budget option in the Imperial chain of hotels and can be booked from their internet website. For an astonishingly low price for London (we paid 66 pounds for a double room for two), you get...

Nice hotel have stayed on several occasions but a shame the pub as gone and is now a coffee bar as was looking forward to a pint and it was the cheapest pub in London so disappointed that it was no longer part of the hotel. Please bring the pub back

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for a whole week. The room was fairly clean, no odd smells, the beds were very soft, and we could feel the springs in our backs when sleeping. Not that pleasant, but it was a good nights sleep anyway. No loud noises, except when guests slamming the doors in, which happened quite...

I was a little apprehensive about my stay at the County hotel after having read some of the reviews on here. 'Grumpy staff' 'Uncomfortable beds' etc. Yeah, right. So why was I greeted with a big smile at reception both on arrival and check-out? I'm sure all the grumpy staff I read about go on leave when I travel! The...

If you're going on a budget break then this hotel is fine. I wouldn't use this hotel for a romantic break or with kids. Hotel is fine, very dated and dusty but beds and toilet facilities are clean and suitable. Fantastic location, ten min walk from Kings Cross and two mins from . Euston We walked to Camden in about...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
