We booked to stay for two nights and I was presently surprised, our room was basic but clean perfect for a group of students who weren't going to be in there much. Literally a two minute walk to earls court underground station, quiet area with lots of coffee shops around and a few pubs and restaurants.

This place is listed on Booking.cm at Kensington Rooms and Apartments at 37 Collingham Place. Don't get it confused, as we did , with Kensington Rooms Hotel (also here on Trip Advisor) at 137 Cromwell Road just around the corner. We arrived at the later to find it completely boarded up for renovation. It took a few minutes to realize...

We booked for six nights at this hotel, just outside Earls Court underground and near the Museums area of London. The rooms are small but comfortable and most important clean. Breakfast sufficient and good. The Polish lady receptionist was very courteous and helpful.

We stayed here for a cheap family London weekend. Its only a 2 minute walk from Earls Court Station, and less than £100 per night. The place must be worth a fortune but hasn't been well looked after. The rough white paint job with a stained crimson carpet is gives a rather unexciting atmosphere and there is a complete lack...

A distinctly average place to stay, served its purpose as a place to crash at the end of the day. Not a good place for anything longer than one or two nights. On the plus side the surrounding area is nice.

We stayed in a 6 bedroom room and to be honest I was expecting much but we paid £90 for 4 adults and 2 children. The room was big enough , the beds comfy , clean linen , clean room. The room also had a fridge , microwave and sink. The guy on the reception was really helpful and friendly...

Stayed here for 4 nights due to complications with our flight. Chose it due to a last minute decision and location, the price was also really good value for Kensington. However on arrival it was not what we expected. As we entered we nearly thought it was a joke. The rooms advertised on the website were misleading and looked far...

Very helpful staff. Ideal for a big group of lads. Perfect central location within a couple of minutes walk from Earl's Court tube station. Very basic, but for the price and location you couldn't beat it. Would suit groups/students better than families.

Me and four friends got a family room which was brilliant. The location is great as its only a couple of minutes walk from the train station. The apartments are owned by a lovely family who were incredibly helpful. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
