This "hotel" has a lot of work to do to make it even serviceable. You enter through the pub to check in and wait for the barman to serve the customers before you are taken up the 3 flights of stairs to your room...no real welcome or time for introductions to the facility. That is also the last you will...

The price is really cheap, but you can not really call this guest house an hotel. The rooms and the equipments are really poor, the cleaning could be better, and the access to the room is by a 3 floor narrow stairs with no lift and with a strange smell. The good points is that the staff are pleasant and...

We've visited the William IV on previous occasions and have been impressed with the friendliness of both staff and locals. And that's before you start on the beer! Brodie's Brewery is on the premises, and produces some of the most stunning beers you will ever encounter. As a result, we decided to stay for a few days. The bedrooms are...

On arrival the free parking turned out to be whatever you could find available on the street. I drove around for a while and finally managed to park in front of someone’s house on a side street and prayed that they would not damage my car overnight. The bedroom was dire and had I had a choice I would have...

I stayed in the pub for 3 nights with my daughter - I must admit I was rather wary at the idea of staying there as I grew up in the area and so obviously know it well. After being quoted a ridiculously high price in the local hotel, I shopped around and chose this pub and I was pleasantly...

This is a typical old English pub with accommodation. The pub is being is being renovated at the moment, this is not a negative as our room with en suite was clean and comfortable. The bed was a good size. The Publican and his wife were very nice and always helpful. Down stairs in the bar it gave one an...

We turned up to find the free parking was actually on the street and had you had to be off the parking space by 8.am, we checked in and the guy behind the bar was pleasant...not like the punters s my partner sneezed unexpectantly...of course he covered his mouth only to have explenatives from a man whom didn't even have...

Recently spent a week at the King William. If you're looking for luxury accommodations, this is not the place. But if you're looking for an affordable and clean place with a wonderful staff, you won't be disappointed here! Geoff and Emma-Jane were fabulous hosts and the amazing Brodie's Beers featured at the pub were an added bonus. The room was...

We had arrived in London to a serviced apartment that we had booked in Leyton, and when we arrived it was way below standard, so at 10pm on a Saturday night the first place we found was King William IV Hotel and Bar. We were welcomed by Jeff the owner and he was more than accommodating with our situation, we...

“-As mentioned there are a lot of steps up to rooms, no lift access. There is a short cut , to cut down the amount of steps you have to walk throug.Through the beer garden and up the metal steps, through the fire exit. -Top floor rooms do seem to be quiter.”
