Bed comfortable, but probably the dirtiest hotel I’ve stayed in, and definitely the dirtiest bathroom I’ve been in.there was even pubic hairs at head height, toilet was in desperate need of de scaling and father floor had only ever been mopped in the middle.

Booked for one night, cost me less that £50 which is great. But simple things could have improved the overall experience.- Toilets were not left clean at check-in. Water on floor and toilet paper bits used to clean left on floor. - Exhaust in toilet was not working.- Common area

This hotel was probably the worst experience of my life. First of all, the room we got smelt like smoke and the A/C did not work. They gave us a new room which only had one bed and a cot instead of two beds, and my cot flipped over in my sleep and i broke my nose! They gave me a

Would only stay if it were the only place available. This was a very basic hotel. Noisy. Sticky carpet, the room was probably was clean , but looked tired and grubby. Have stayed in better average price hotels in many other countries . Would not stay again.

Stayed for 1 night last weekend (24th Nov 2018). Staff pleasant, beds really comfy and good coffee/tea facilities. Rooms could have done with a better check however as ours (family room) was missing a shower head, and therefore we could not shower. The floor in the bathroom of th

Is it easy to get to the natural history museum from hotel
There are 2 buses from the hotel (running 24 hours + every 5-10mins) to Clapham junction with connections to S.Kensington (30-40 mins) and the 44 to Victoria + multi connections. Invest in a travel oyster card and travel around by train, underground or bus...at your own pace and choice. Hopping on+off buses lets you see more of London. I used "google maps" to check which connections I could use. Worked brilliantly. 😊

How does the discount parking work do you need to go to reception before paying for parking
Be careful. Check the signs both sides of hotel. As a resident you pay £9 for 24 hours. You use a code to get that. I over paid but I did get a refund. Lot of hassle. You have about 20 mins to pay so you have time to ask for help at reception before you do it. Make sure you put your reg in correctly or you will get fined. It's easy really just take your time.

Travel lodge battersea can I ask we are there for one night at end of September for an event so just require a bed for the night and breakfast which says is included is this place ok for our needs? Thanks
They don’t do breakfast, there is no bar or kitchen. The nearest place to eat is a 20 minute walk away in a Weatherspoons. I stayed here and the hotel is not clean, too hot, and very little light in the room I stayed. I would never stay there again.

Ive also had a bad experience due to the heat in the Balham Travelodge during the heatwave and their windows didnt open either. Can anyone tell me if the windows open in the rooms in Battersea? Thanks
We have been there last week and no, you can't fully open the windows. I have heard that other guest - I of course would not do that and strongly condemn such action - bought a screwdriver in the hardware shop next door and took of the look. Still the windwos are not very big and I don't think you get a lot of fresh air in the room. Since there is no air-conditioning sleeping there right now is hell. We left early and booked another hotel.

Is it possible to get a wake up call from reception here? I'll be arriving late and need to be in really early, so I'm not 100% trusting my alarm lol
Not really. Take a back up alarm or two with you. No phones in the room and I wouldn't rely on anyone to wake me. You'll sleep better if you have two alarms.
