The location on Vincent Square is excellent. We found it easy to get to any site in London. The service was wonderful. We really enjoyed the breakfast, specially that we had only continental included, however on the weekdays we could have cooked breakfast for free of charge. The staff was very responsive to any of our questions about directions, taxis,...

Simply unbelievably bad customer relations! Was on business trip, where my company were paying the hotel, and I was on a limited budget. I suffer from claustrophobia. I wrote ahead of trip saying I would really appreciate them giving me the largest room possible. Just a room of "decent" size. The front of house manager emailed me stating the would...

My husband and I booked this hotel on a last minute deal and were very glad we did. It was perfect for our overnight stay, It is a short 5 min walk from Victoria underground and overground station's from which you can travel to all the major London attractions in about 15mins. The hotel itself is located in a very...

Very rude and unhelpful receptionist on arrival. She said that I would have to chip and pin £300 as a deposit that would not leave my account but would merely be frozen until I paid the £249 for the room. I am still trying to reclaim back the £300 and the bank are carrying out a fraud investigation against the...

We only stayed one night but we it was definitely memorable but not in a good way. Let me start from the beginning, we called ahead and asked if they had room for a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 very small children, we were told that they could easily accommodate us. Upon arrival, stairs only and not anyone...

I am perplexed why anyone would pay £200 a night to stay in a room that if you sit on the bed you can touch both walls. In the bathroom there was not enough room for the tissue box - it was left on it edged balanced on the spare loo roll. It was horrendous, over priced and a bit...

I stayed at this hotel in March 2014 for 3 nights, whilst I was away on business. Look of the property - Beautiful building from the outside and well maintained. Location - Very good location, the hotel is based a 10min walk from Sloane Square and The Kings Road. Victoria tube and bus station are a 5 min walk. Tesco...

I stayed on business, whilst attending an awards ceremony at Battersea Evolution. The hotel is very close to one of our venues, and was just a short walk from St James Park tube. Reception was very small, but check in was quick enough for it not to matter. Bedroom was very well furnished, with slightly too many cushions, but the...

A lovely hotel but the room I was given (booked as a 4 star room) was extremely small (bit like a cupboard or would have been staff quarters in previous times). When using the kettle on the only socket in the room, I was in danger of tripping up to get cups or to go to bathroom, tiny floor space...

Nice location. The hotel is about at 10 minute walk to or from Victoria Station. We were able to walk to the Westminster Abbey area pretty easily from the hotel. Rooms are small (as to be expected) but clean and comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel at any time but we did go to the hotel bar a...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
