I recently stayed over night as part of a package deal, the staff were very helpful and friendly.I only have one complaint and that is that I booked a double room and what I got was a twin room with the two single beds pushed together.

Little being the operative word! Booked at very short notice for an important meeting in Westmister (hotel is in a very convenient location); the week before at Taj Mahal Palace hotel Mumbai, my bathroom was larger than my room here c/w ensuite! It was a very deinate single, albeit with everything I needed nonetheless. However, the mainly European staff were...

Although situated in the heart of London, the hotel has small rooms with very small beds. Average European people won't fit in the bed. The rooms are tiny but clean. WiFi available but expensive. Breakfast is good but very expensive. Overall mismatch in price and quality.

Another good example of the Grange hotel group, I use this group when in London and find the consistency of service excellent. The Rochester staff are very friendly, helpful and professional. The Rochester bar is relaxed and serves good food with a reasonable selection of drinks. the staff are knowledgable and friendly, and the hotel is ideal if you want...

This review is for the Grange Wellington as this hotel is not yet listed on Trip Advisor Great hotel, lovely location, rooms are wonderfully new, although a little small, but that doesn't bother us. Beautifully decorated in a lovely old building. The restaurant or bar wasnt finished as still going through the refurbishment. This will be perfect when its finished...

We have just come back from a weekend away in London and we stayed at the Grange and the staff were very helpful at all times, did not have to wait for very long for help with taxis or ironing board etc we were very impressed with staff here at the hotel. The hotel itself was lovely, very clean and...

I booked this hotel and was very pleased with the customer service that I received. I enjoyed the fact that it was walking distance to Buckingham palace. The area and the surroundings of the hotel were beautiful and the interior of the hotel was just breathtaking.

Stayed for a Saturday night in a premium room at a very reasonable rate. Room was clean, staff were all very friendly and approachable. Hotel Was in a good quiet location within easy walking distance of Victoria Station and attractions such as the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

Generally this hotel is good but there are certainly things that need to be improved or updated. My room was a decent size, clean and had all the facilities that you would expect; including a large screen TV. The restaurant is good and has an adequate menu with some very nice dishes on it. Breakfast is offered with continental and...

I've recently stayed at this hotel for a couple of days. The hotel, built in the style of the buildings around, is located in a quiet neighbourhood, about 10 minutes walking from Victoria Station. Our room on the 5th floor (lift to the 4th floor, then 20 steps up) was well equipped with everything one needs, and the bathroom was...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
