My daughter booked a weekend away at the hotel for my 65th birthday present, and what a lovely stay we had! The room was very comfortable, well proportioned and well-kitted out with everything you could want. The best hotel bed I have ever slept in! Nice products in the bathroom. Although we didn't use it, room service looked very reasonable.... More

Good central location as base for sightseeing and theatre. Lots of roadworks and building happening making getting around by road slow at the moment. Room was alright breakfast was great. Staff were great, attentive and professional.

Along with a great location, and beautiful setting, The Grosvenor has the most engaging, helpful staff I've seen! The location is a short walk to Buckingham Palace, and right next door to the Victoria Station, where you can hop on the tube, or train, or bus - and you'll be anywhere in the city that you want to go! Cheers!

We stayed at Grosvenor Hotel to celebrate our anniversary; received an upgrade and a delicious cake upon arrival; the staff goes out of the way to help; being adjacent to London Victoria Station was extremely helpful; the property is convenient to everything for both tourists as well as regular visitors to London; it was perhaps the best trip since we... Single room was quite small but it was a cheap sale rate. All amenities provided and although the room fronted on to a busy road it was quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Superbly opulent breakfast room with a good choice of hot items. Toast brought to table which was a nice touch. Friendly staff throughout always willing... More

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. The Grosvenor is indeed a historical hotel, as it was erected in 1862 and Grade II listed status. I’m pleased that you had a good night's sleep and enjoyed your breakfast - two important factors when choosing a hotel. We hope to see you again soon. Kind regards, Ian More

This hotel is on the side of the Victoria train station and in the heart of London. So don't always expect the quietest of rooms. Also the rooms are pretty small generally. This is one of the oldest hotels in London but it is beautifully appointed, clean and with well trained staff. I enjoy staying here and have been twice... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
