Hotel is good value for London! 5 min walk from Russell Square station which is super helpful and about 15 min walk from Oxford St. It's super basic accom but nice and comfortable enough for sleeping and showering, you won't be spending much time in your room anyways. There is two sides of the hotel and a big open area...

This hotel is in a wonderful location. Close to underground, to bus stations, to the British meuseum and more. Very comfortable location. Rooms are with good space. It was clean. Continental breakfast with an option for a full breakfast for extra 5 pounds. Its a perfect hotel for groups. No aircondition in the rooms, so maybe not for the hot...

My wife and I came here on a superbreak deal. Our previous experience was not that good as we found the hotel way too busy (given the size), breakfast some what mad and our nights sleep broken by people crashing around the hotel late at night. This time around both of us were surprised - check in was completed within...

Stayed for 2 nights in this rather old, big but well positioned hotel. However the rooms were clean and adequate and of a good size, with clean bedding and daily towel change. The breakfast was good with a choice of either continental or full English breakfast. We have stayed in other central London hotels, and paid much more money and...

We've been staying here for a week, for our holiday. It's a big hotel, so it's an Excellent hotel for big groups. So be prepared for crowds in your hotel lobby and courtyard. The staff are busy but still manage to be courteous. Breakfast is good, we're not fussy, so no problem with paying 5 quid for a cooked brekky...

If we had truly listened to all the negative reviews on here for this hotel, we could have almost put off going all together. The reality is, you should always make your own mind up! We couldn't have been more impressed with our stay at the Royal National. The room was superb, the staff are friendly, the breakfast is absolutely...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
