There are thieves in this hotel!!! Be very careful!!! Never leave your cash money in the room when you are outside. 8 December 2016 when my husband and I were having breakfast during 7.00 - 7.30 a.m., somebody got into our room and stole all cash money from my purse. They stole only cash money (around 110 pounds and 450...

Needed a place in central location but near to Euston, and this was extremely convenient close to Russell Square or Euston whichever tube lines you need. Probably always find rooms here, theres huge number of rooms! The room was pretty standard nothing spectacular but did the job, a quiet comfortable sleep and nice clean shower room. You get a prepacked...

We went 2 couples and with the same cost we had different rooms. Both of them nauseating but one more than other. The beds were intolerable and there was no cleaning in all room. In some rooms you have to pay for the hairdryer and in other is free, and with the same cost of room added to a very...

For a city break great location. Don't expect 5 star... clean room, but dated, great showers and breakfast sets you up for the day. Great hotel if you want a London base but don't want to spend time in the room

I enjoyed a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday in November 2016 for 6 days around central London.Starting with cost effective holiday planning by Brittish Airways,a good flight by the same and staying at the very comfortable Royal National Hotel recommended by them was the best decision I made.Using the tube train from Heathrow with no station changes necessary, the Piccadilly line...

We booked a weekend here only due to the fact there was no vacancies at their sister hotel the president. To be honest I wish I hadn't bothered. The staff in the bar weren't very polite and breakfast time was like feeding time at the zoo. Having to walk up and down it was like a factory canteen. The rooms...

It's a big hotel and we had a problem to find our room for the first two days. There is little staff and nobody to ask for directions. The rooms are small but clean. The TV didn't work but at least the WI FI was free, fast and with good coverage all over the hotel. Poor choices for breakfast.

Location is good. Close to a tube station (Russell Square) or a mile walk to Leicester Square which I did a few times. The hotel itself is huge and very general. All the rooms are pretty much the same. People have mentioned it is clean. Personally I think it could be cleaner. We had a hair clip on the bathroom...

Hated every second of being in the hotel room so tried to stay out of it as much as possible but it was hard considering how cold it was and having a young child who would get tired. Stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and no one bothered to mention they are joined to a night club which blasted...

This hotel is a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross train station and close to Tavistock Square. We walked to London's West End from here and also walked back from Oxford Street to the hotel (probably quicker than relying on taxis!). We were going to jump on a bus back to the hotel but would have had to buy an...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
