We stayed here as a last minute decision and as the price was so reasonable. We had read the reviews of the place being tired and run down so we went with our eyes fully open. All we were looking for was a bed in a clean room. Everyone there was really welcoming, breakfast was good, bed and linen were...

Hi Sophie I've spent the last week debating how to go about this as I'm really disappointed with my recent visit. So here goes. On arrival in our room, I noticed a faint smell of stale cigarette smoke but, as the window was open, I just presumed it had drifted up from outside. We went out for dinner and returned...

I stayed here on the off chance thanks to a last minute booking and I must say I was very impressed. I was rather hesitant with some of the negative reviews on here however after my two night stay all I can say is that they must have stayed in another hotel or they have a mighty chip on their...

This B&B is Great, I stayed here with my bezzie mate for the Walkerstalker convention as its so close to everything. I can't believe people can be so up themselves in their moaning reviews! Its a no airs and graces traditional B&B. The rooms are clean with fresh clean bedding beds are very soft. Nice little kitchenette with the regular...

This accommodation is very close to food and bus stops which is a bonus. The room was up 3 flights of stairs and there is no lift so it is not good for disabled people. The room was neat and tidy and we shared a bathroom with two other rooms, but never saw anyone else. Breakfast was served every morning...

While we were very pleased with the location, that was about it. The room was fairly noisy, both from the street and form somebody playing a guitar in the middle of the night. The room regularly smelled like slightly off fish. The kitchen sink and toilet leak and one night the ceiling above our bed started leaking on the bed....

I stayed here on Saturday night (1st Feb) after having had a few drinks and hence not being able to drive home I looked for somewhere at late notice to lay my head for the night. Oh dear....besides the owner taking 20 mins to find a room and a key...blame the expedia app for that. The room was tragic...a very...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.

“In a different B&B would be nicer.”

“Although the street can tend to be noisy with traffic, ambulances and pedestrians, ask for a room that faces the street to avoid any unpleasantries that other guest have complained about. The in-room prefabricated shower/sink/toilet facility was clean, however it was cramped and I would imagine it would be uncomfortable for a larger person. It reminded me of a toilet/shower on a train!”
