We stayed here wanting to be close to Central London and within a fairly small budget. The room was comfortable, clean and had all required amenities. The water pressure wasn't great in the shower but for two nights it was a minor problem. Considering the price, I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel itself is clean convenient and value for money not too sure if the room rate is inclusive of burglars or not. Was woken up ate 5:20 by someone climbing through the sash window which hotel staff must have left unlocked. I am 6ft and relatively strong so managed to shove him out. So don't stay in the basement rooms...

Small unpretentious Hotel, basic, small rooms near central London, so a great location. Clean & tidy rooms. On the second day we suffered a Hotel robbery when someone entered the room & stole our money & an iPad from our locked suitcase. This was said by the Hotel to be a first for them when someone came in off the...

Just a 12 minute walk away from shopping at Oxford Street and with great restaurants all around. The staff is friendly and the entire hotel is clean and newly refurbished. It is fairly rare to find quality like this in this area and I would not hesitate for a second to come back – especially given the friendly prices. My...

what can you say, back street hotel near madame tussauds, expensive, poky, full english breakfast with just boiled eggs, beans, mushrooms and tomatoes. positives, it's clean. I knew what we were getting so will be fair in the score, but wouldn't stay here again if I needed more than a bed.

I was surprised to read what "Workingman" from Littlehampton had to say about their stay this summer. The Regency must have had a facelift of late. I stayed in a comfortable room in May 2005 on my first trip overseas. I would be happy to stay there again, except that I book my hotels based on my planned activities of...

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights last week and, like our previous two visits, found The Regency to offer value for money. It is in a great location, approx 10 mins walk from Baker Street Underground station and near some good restaurants and shops. Our room was in the basement (not as bad as it sounds) overlooking...

My room was a bit small, but everything I needed was provided. Excellent WIFI, breakfast (even English) was included in the price and staff was most friendly. Nice location with tube around the corner and some nice bars and restaurants close by. A surprise in London where hotels are so often over priced.

Stopped here just for one night for a girlie night out! Pleased to find it was only around a 10 min walk from Marlebone station as we all had our silly shoes on!! Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
