Just around the corner from Victoria Station, I usually stay up the road closer to Eccleston Street but decided to give this Rick Steve's recommended hotel a try this trip. This little neighbourhood has everything. A quick walk from Victoria Station for those flying into...More
Typical of this type of accommodation, lots of rooms tightly packed across 2/3 floors...neat and tidy with out being stunning. Ours was on the landing of a flight of stairs but had no trouble with noise etc. the room was very tight with 2 adults...More
On a recent trip to London we stayed at the Lime Tree hotel and everything about it was excellent. Good location for walking to many sights and close to Victoria Station (from there you can get most anywhere). Our room was large, clean and airy....More

Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw
away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.

When we were there in September for a week, we had a great complementary breakfast everyday. They were fully cooked from full English to continental what ever you wanted. The full English included bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, baked beans and toast. You could also choose any portion of that such as the toast and bacon I liked or porridge (oatmeal), yogurt etc. They also brought around a danish and croissant basket. Every morning you were brought a pot of tea or coffee. The service was fantastic! Breakfast at the Lime tree was the thing we miss most about our stay in London!
