Stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Room was elegant but very comfortable. The service was outstanding and the staff knew us by name by the second day. Dinner in the restaurant was the dining highlight of the week. Agree that the staff are friendly and welcoming and have a most refreshing sense of humor.

Stayed for one night, afternoon tea and dinner. The service was first class, friendly but respectful and the afternoon tea was probably the best we have had. Room excellent , very comfortable. We would come back again I just wish it was closer to the West end theatres.

Sadly, we only get to The Goring at most, once a year. It has always been one of the best parts of our holiday. The staff, including John and Patrick (concierges) are all amazing and make you feel right at home. Somehow they always know your names!!! The lounge/bar area is a great place not only for tea, but to...

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Incredible staff, rooms and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done to perfection. Honestly, this is one of the few London hotels that gets things "right". We will come back to the Goring year after year. It was truly our pleasure.

We were in the UK for 3+ weeks, with 10 days in London at The Goring. We instantly felt at home. The front desk was on point, efficient and friendly. We were escorted to our room, instructed as to the hotel's amenities and given a warm welcome. With all the hotels that were available, we were pretty sure we'd made...

Yes, Kate Middleton stayed here the night before her marriage to Prince William, but so did we...and we were treated like royalty. Afternoon tea, dinner that evening, an elegant bedroom, everything was exemplary. Can't wait to return.

With an amazingly warm welcome by the doormen through to the personalised greeting at check-in the hotel does not fail to deliver. Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
