I booked this hotel for one night only, due to my short stay in London. The hotel is well located, 10 minutes walking for Kings Cross and 5 minutes walking for Euston Station. My room was very large and quite comfortable. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful in finding a solution for early breakfast (before 07:00 a.m.). All in...

This is a decent Bed and Breakfast on a quiet street facing a park - but with quick access to the usual things wanted in a holiday visit to a major city! I stayed for 3 nights and would certainly stay there again. The desk staff-person provided an electrical adapter for me to use to charge my cell phone during...

Our stay was comfortable, rooms were a bit dated and our only concern were the locked windows if there was to be a fire we would not be able to get out of our room. We had cooked breakfast which was nice and staff were friendly.

We booked this hotel for one night while transiting London on the way north because of its proximity to Kings Cross. It is about 10 minutes walk so it's very convenient. The room was fairly small and located on the 2nd floor. There is no lift and was difficult carrying luggage up the narrow stairs. Breakfast was enjoyable and the...

Good location in a quiet area opposite a leafy park, but the rooms in this old large house are not quiet - creaky wooden floor boards under the shabby carpets mean that you are visited by the footsteps of all the rooms above and next to you. Which would be fine if the price was like a dormitory room, or...

Sorry that our hotel was not to your liking. You did chose to stay in one of our basic quad rooms with a low room rate. We are endeavouring to address the negative aspects of your review.

I had booked an early check in of 12 o'clock and arrived earlier than that to discover my room already ready for me. A fast check in meant I was able to freshen up and change before heading out again. The room was basic but suited my requirements perfectly. There was a shared bathroom/shower which consisted of 2 toilets, 1...

I have stayed at The Euro Hotel in Cartwright Gardens five times now over the last nine years. I keep returning for all the reasons mentioned in my previous reviews and, after my recent visit, found that the quality of the hotel has not diminished over the years. The Euro Hotel continues to have many strengths, one of them being...

This was my first-ever trip to the UK and the Euro was recommended by friends. From booking to departure, my experience was easy, pleasant and professional. We arrived early and were able to check in. I had asked for a first-floor room and they were very accommodating. The room was perfect for a single person - bed comfortable, big room,...

Had three nights at the Euro Hotel, very comfortable, clean and great service. The breakfast was excellent with very attentive staff. We had a room at the back on the second floor, and this was very quiet. Good WiFi in the room and good tea and coffee facilities. I would certainly stay there again on my next visit to London as...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
