The room we were given at the front had a bow window and a nice view of the square. It was clean but the beds are too small and uncomfortable with only one flat pillow each. Some of the reception staff were unable to smile on greeting us and were unhelpful, one of the room cleaners rolled her eyes and...

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and to be honest we would not look for another hotel in London. The location is fantastic, you are in the heart of the city with one stop from Kingscross and a couple from Picadilly. The hotel overlooks a lovely garden where you can go for a breath or...

Booked in for bed and breakfast. Breakfast is good quality and staff efficient. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. Disco in basement is too loud to sleep. I'm a good sleeper but it is impossible to sleep. I would warn anyone hoping to get any sleep to get another hotel. I wouldn't book this hotel again.

This is an excellent location and a budget-friendly hotel that offers a lot of bang for your buck. Staff are friendly, rooms are cozy and clean and you simply can't beat the location. The amenities are above average for a budget hotel including breakfast, two restaurants and a nice lobby bar.

I made 2 bookings with the hotel during my stay in Sept/Oct and it was pretty perfect for what I was after! I was very specific in what type of hotel I was looking at - budget and location being a huge factor - and yes I agree that the rooms are basic but the photos pretty much show that...

The rooms are fairly clean but that's about it!! The service staff are not helpful at all, they made a mistake when inputing our booking information into their system and instead of us getting a full size bed (double standard room), we end up getting two twin beds for a three nights stay. The service staff seems to have prejudice...

Not a bad hotel if your just wanting to get your head down for a night or two. It is clean but extremely basic. Rooms are very well worn and the beds aren't quality. I could feel the springs. You can tell the hotel has a very high quick turnover. Excellent location though. Very hot rooms with loud air control...

Small room on 5th floor, small television, mould in the bathroom on tiles and ceilings, breakfast mass produced but nice, waiters not that friendly, tea tasted weird and of a grey colour, could leave luggage afterward and 50p an item. It's basic but clean.

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
