Small and a bit old hotel near elephant & castle. We had room nr 26 with our toilet / shower in the hallway, expected it to be in the room. Staff and service is ok. Has had a pub on ground floor but closed since 2013, now used as breakfast room. Small breakfast with bread & marmelade and 1 type...

The breakfast was less than satisfactory. All on offer was some cheap croissants with only butter and jam, boxed cereals and the cheapest yogurts loaded with sugar. There was no fruit, cheese or meat. A so called continental breakfast, half of which my husband with diabetes couldnt eat. The most ridiculous aspect was that there wasnt even enough spoons to...

I wish I read these reviews before I went! It's run down and just awful. Walked into a man slobbing on the sofa! Went to our room but felt like something out of a horror film. Then when we went to go out we were asked to leave the hotel key! Why would you do that with your belongings in...

Very disappointed with this hotel. It advertises as a quaint cosy London stay but it is shabby, in need of a lick of paint and a bugs upgrade and overhaul and overall a huge disappointment to us. Holes in the wall, paint flaking off walls, toilet dripping and giving off a very unpleasant smell in to room. Taps and shower...

I looked forward to a cheap night in a pub with rooms, but found the bar had been shut through lack of trade. There's no doubt the place is showing it's age quite significantly. The bedroom on the other hand was OK with a comfortable bed. For less than £70 within 20 mins of Trafalgar Square it's good value. Will...

I can't even list all the negatives, it would take too long! Pros are it's very close to the tube station, is quiet, wi-fi worked in room on top floor, and we had clean bedding and towels. A few of the cons: I don't call a tray of cold cheap croissants a selection of pastries, Customer service didn't exist, everything...

We were placed in a quite wierd room with bathroom in the common hallway. In addition the door didnt close all the way so it was quite noisy if people were talking in the hallway, so we didnt feel like there was much privacy to get. When we asked to switch room there wasnt much help to get.

Cheap and excellent value, yes a little dated but clean, comfy beds and pillows, decent breakfast. Bathroom was new and spotless. Quiet location, no traffic noise. Easy access to tube. Would definitely use it again

Ok, so firstly I'll say that the staff were very friendly at the front desk. Secondly it was cheap for a last minute night in London. Other than this I really can't find anything positive about the experience. The room was tiny (i'm glad I paid another tenner for a double room because lord knows how small the single is!),...
