This "hotel" is just minging. First tiny room we went in stunk and was roasting hot. When we lifted the duvet, the bedding was filthy with presumably remnants of the previous guest. On complaining, we were moved to another room which to be fair was cleaner. The bed was uncomfortable, the room too small to be able to walk around...

We stayed in this Hotel,it was utterly disgusting. We had the misfortune of having a basement room,it had a drain right outside of the window that produced awful smells when people flushed the toilet elsewhere in the hotel. The heat in the room was overwhelming to the point we couldn't sleep. The toilet and shower room were equally disgusting, you quite...

The only plus side is it is in a good location and the area is quiet but there are plenty of other hotels nearby so I would highly recommend d you stay elsewhere. Rooms are small but you could get past that if they were well maintained. The wardrobe was broken, the bathroom light went and they didn't fix it...

I had the unfortunate experience to stay in this venue in July as I had to catch an early train from Kings Cross Station. The only positive comment I can make is the location of the hotel which is opposite the station. I found the check in staff to be surly. I was allocated a room beside the reception which...

We had an unplanned stay on Friday night(22nd July). We needed somewhere to stay quickly and had the huge misfortune of this hotel coming up on booking.com. To say its a travesty is an insult to actual travesty's. The rooms are tiny and just disgusting. We ended up sleeping on the bed cover with our clothes on after we read...

Very convenient location, clean and well appointed room. Spent one night here after returning on a late train to London. Just opposite Kings Cross/St Pancras stations and 10 minutes walk from Euston station. Because of the location on a busy thoroughfare there is traffic noise which could be heard in the room I had. Check in quick and easy and...

I've stayed in a few hotels in this area in single rooms (my favourite being the Angus Hotel further along the same road) which have varied in quality. This hotel fits in the middle somewhere. It wasn't as bad as some reviewers would have you believe, but nor did it wow me in any way. Check in was quick and...

My aim was to find a cheap accommodation which is not a hostel and where I wouldn't have to share my bathroom. King's Cross Hotel was exactly perfect for a single traveler. It is just a few minutes from Tube (King's Cross/St. Pancras) as well Railway station station. The room was small, but clean and provided relatively good sleeping quality,...

Hotel is well located for King's Cross/St.Pancras Stations and restaurants and pubs. After that it's all downhill, except got the narrow steep stairway to rooms. Not recommended for an older person - I know as I'm one. Room was very small, but I expected this, it was not unclean but grubby. The window opened but would just slide closed again...

Clean and fairly typical of the b+bs in the area, has the advantage of being slightly more set back so quieter than average Checkin staff were efficient even when arriving late in the evening For the price paid it was a good place to stay if you just want to get your head down for some sleep

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
