Boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights while we explored London. Great location, quick walk to several tube stations. Room was quite large for London, plenty of room for us to spread our crap around. Very clean and furniture had minimal wear. Hotel does have construction happening on 3 sides, 8am-6pm. Got a free drink out of it though....

Provided all that was required of a one night stay for bed and breakfast, with friendly staff. The location is great for the South bank and Theatre land in London. Close enough to walk and far enough away to be quiet.

I usually stay at one of the fancier, old (and expensive) hotels on the other side of the Thames but this one is a little gem. No view to speak of, a massive building site next door and in a spot which is a bit difficult to comfortably be dropped off by or get into a taxi without holding up...

Excellent stay, warm welcome and wonderful food. What more could we ask. But we also got friendliness and good beer. Made welcome for food in the bar even when we booked for extra guests staying in another nearby rival hotel. We will be Back!

Poor service during breakfast time waited over 40 minutes for breakfast. didn't get our order correct and toast was cold by time we got our butter and our breakfast. we requested a double room but the bed was 3/4 size. the website sells the hotel very well and pictures are much better than real life.

I booked this hotel as a birthday night away for my partner, and the room when booked in advance was a reasonable price. We had everything we needed in the room and the bed was very comfortable! Very nice clean bathroom. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was very nice although the tasting board of pies wasn't available...

Dear Leah I'm so glad you found the hotel to your liking and you had a nice night away with your partner. Travelling with <2year old. Very comfortable and clean. Large enough room to have a playpen in the room as well. Excellent location and within easy walking distance to main attractions. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

I was very pleased with the stay at this hotel. The location is very central and well connected. The staff was very welcoming. Miguel, the waiter at the bar found my glasses on the table after we had some drinks in the bar and brought them to my room just a couple of minutes after I left them there. The...

Dear Oscar Wow thank you so much for this amazing review and the 5 stars. I'm so happy Miguel went that extra mile to ensure your cases were returned to you safely. I'm so sorry about the windows, the hotel building is very old making the windows not the easiest of things to fix. I hope we see you again...

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
