Stayed for a weekend in a “superior room”, nothing superior about it. Had to keep the blind down the whole time as the one window (located about 10 foot from a brick wall) shared an adjacent side with the corridor meaning anyone could look in....More
The room was well prepared for the meeting and the staff were excellent.
The lighting was adequate although the air-conditioning did feel quite cold if you sat under it and one side of our table was tired of life and sagged quite alarmingly.
This was a great experience and much of that was down to how lovely and helpful the staff were. The room and facilities were excellent, the breakfast was decent. The building itself was impressive and all round it was good value.
Nice hotel located short walk from both Aldgate station and Tower Hill station. Nice room including bathroom. Front desk staff were courteous and helpful. Bar is open until late for food. Breakfast had a good selection.

Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a
cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
