Staff were nice, hotel not so much. You really do get what you pay for with this hotel. I won't be back, a communal toilet doesn't work for me. The bed was tiny, the room was roasting with the heating on all night. The whole place needs gutted out and refurbished.

My friend and I stayed here after a concert at Ally Pally. We were a bit suprised to find the shower in the room we were staying in, but it wasn't too much bother. Stayed in the room in the afternoon before we went to the concert and it was a bit chilly, but when we came back to the... More

Stayed here for some shows at Alexandra Palace as it was the nearest hotel. After reading the reviews prior to visiting I was expecting the worst but upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. Sure the stairs are creaky and mattresses and some of the furniture could do with being updated but the rooms were clean and well equipped and for... More

I stayed here for a TØP concert at Ally Pally as it's only a short walk away. The beds were great and comfy and we had our own shower and sink along with tea making facilities and plenty of storage. The TV worked fine but we didn't really watch it too much. Breakfast was delicious, the bacon and sausage especially!... More

I paid £45 for a double in a clean, comfortable 2* hotel for a 1 night stay after a gig at Alexandra Palace. It's a simple route to Ally Pally, about 15mins walk along clear, well-lit roads. Staff were pleasant and helpful. I think previous reviewers are forgetting this is a 2* hotel - if you're expecting 5* luxury and... More

Stayed here from 22nd oct - 23rd oct 2016 with 2 of my friends. Very nice looking hotel from outside, very friendly welcome and speedy check in. Sort of a maze trying to find out room but we got there in the end ! Room very spacious with a double bed and 2 singles. Tele, coffee and tea with kettle... More

Where to begin...... Well it looked ok on arrival but this was at almost 9pm and it was pretty dark, My room was on walking in like an oven and all I could hear any time anyone used water in the building was what sounded like a tin bath being refilled........ The communal shower was a wet yourself soap up... More

After a night out in London realised we hadn't booked a hotel for that night. Amazed this was the only hotel nearby in which we could book at that time in London. They double charged us at the time (both ourselves and the staff were unaware) but was rectified in the morning. Didn't stay for breakfast as wanted additional £10!!... More

We've been there twice now and we actually pretty much liked it, but there are some pretty weak points. For the beginning: this is an old building. A very old building. The floor is uneven and squeeky, - the carpets are old, - the stairs are all over the place, - the lamps look suspicous, - some windows won't stay... More

A fairly average hotel in London, I would give 2.5 stars if I could. Used to see a band in Alexandra palace for a night, the room was spacious but old fashioned and not particularly clean. The shower room was small, and a bit of a sturggle for my 6 foot partner. However the shower was efficient, so no real... More
