Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending event at Olympia, not a far walk. I was weary after reading the reviews however it's not that bad. The rooms are small and the decoration does need updating however it is clean and our towels were changed and bed made. Quiet hotel not noisy at all staff were friendly. Breakfast was just...

Needed a room for only a few hours to get some sleep. Very basic but clean. Comfy beds so a good sleep is guaranteed. The location is very good, about 10min walking distance from Victoria Station. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely go again.

Booked here to stay in town after some Xmas drinks as it was under £60 B&B for a single room. I often stay in budget hotels for single nights and this was one of the best. Clean, friendly and basic, with a reasonably-sized room. Great location to get to most places in London. Will definitely use again.

I stayed the night here with a friend of mine. The room was a little small but clean and functional. Very good value for the location. I enjoyed the breakfast and give a special mention to the blonde girl I think her name was Lumi who was very helpful and friendly. For anyone looking for a basic clean room in...

Well located for Earl's Court Underground and therefore all of the city. Cosmopolitan area, wide choice to eat around there. The hotel is clean, simple no frills, but helpful staff and emphasize clean. Simple breakfast, the front desk is manned 24/7. What more do you tourists need.

The rooms not very big, very basic, not tea or coffee in room, had to pay extra for parking, breakfast was definitely not continental. You didn't get a choice of cereal, and you got hard boiled cold egg, processed cheese slide, processed half slice of ham, no choice of yogurt just what you were given and no croissants or alternative...

The best thing about this hotel was the location; a six minute walk from Earls Court tube station and a fifteen minute walk from the Natural History Museum, with a fairly good choice of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is located on a busy road, but we couldn't hear any traffic noises from our room at the back of...

I booked this hotel for a two night stay while I was doing a course in London. I don't normally book a two star hotel but the pictures looked reasonable, so I booked a double room for two nights. I arrived quite late and checked in. I went up to my room and unlocked the door. I was shocked at...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
